Something was tucked under the door. Shit, more bills ??!! Glanced at the image then read the note. Then I lost it. A few months ago, as part of my grieving + venting process, I did a post about my Earth Mother Joan. There was this photo my brother Adam took. Mum was hugging this tree soon after she lost ...the love of her life. My dad Ron. Anyway, today this random act of community grace arrives under the door from an artist I don’t even know. I’ve been feeling stretched lately and this act of local soul couldn’t of come at a better time. I cried and I cried. How does a stranger reach out in such a way !? Deeply touched. An original water colour impression of my dear mum + her tree. Mum hasn’t seen it yet she will bust open. In a good way. Let that love shine in. ....I since searched for @openskyopenroad and I now know one of the givers. A beautiful, sparkly eyed chap I have met in the shop and have shared random deep stories together.
