18.01.2022 IRONWOOD STATION HAT RACK made from 1900's stockyard fence post with hand-cut Ibbotsen steel railway sleeper features. $950
17.01.2022 I recently restored a 1915 light-horse saddle and decided to make a saddle horse to display this historic piece. For this project I have used 130 year old ironwood railway sleepers. These old railway sleepers have been collected from the side of the railway track in the Pine Creek goldfield region and were cut and split in the 1880’s. Over the years they have seasoned, and the timber once sanded down and restored has a beautiful patina. This 2 day project has produced a great result, and the next project is underway.

09.01.2022 WATER RIGHTS A contemporary sculpture of our time. It depicts 2 male crocodiles facing off over rights to a Northern Territory billabong. I’ve thought about this project for a while and chose to use hand cut 130-year-old ironwood railway sleepers. The crocodile and billabong lily features were also hand cut from 130-year-old Ibbottson Sheffield steel railway sleepers. This unique piece is for sale at $1500.
