Not a lot of time for sewing though, but I did put my sewing skills to good use & made a live bait scoop. Pat was a bit precious about the Cherabin nipping him every time he put his hand in the tank

12.01.2022 Hi all, we are at a bush camp about 50 km west of Mt Isa. Thank goodness we arent swamped by millions of flies out here. Winton was friendly but they can keep their flies. Well cross the border tomorrow morning. Harleys birthday tomorrow, will celebrate in the bush somewhere. Second photo was a nice little lunch spot just outside Cloncurry.

09.01.2022 Family convoy holiday is coming to a close. Just waking up in Mt Isa on our way home via Townsville. Some great memories have been been made along the way for everyone I think. Over the last few days with some fuel dramas Ive observed patience, perserverance, skill, gratitude, friendship (and thats between the older boys). The younger boys have had some great role modeling ( and maybe some not so great male modelling, but thats what Mum & Grandma are for). Weve had a 14th birthday party on the road, bush camping, impromptu camp fires, the best food, too much food, conversations & jokes via two-way car radios & lots of laughs & fun. Thanks to all xx
