JG32SL - Fairmont GXL Sedan, 9/76 Engine T - 351 5.8 Litre 4V Trans L - 4 speed floor shift manual Paint 9 - Sno White Trim B - Black A 5.8 litre 4 speed GXL is about as good as you could get in the XC range, and with very low build numbers these cars are highly desirable today. This example is a great base for a restoration with a solid body, matching numbers and most of the hard bits there. Some parts are missing such as the 9" diff, console, engine accessories and a few mould / trim. The important parts are there, matching number engine and tags, v8 gearbox, dash, petrol cap etc. Engine turns over and is matching number to the VIN and ID tag. JG37MT - Fairlane 500 Sedan, 12/1972 Engine Y - 302 2V V8 Trans R - 3 speed column change automatic Paint K - Wild Plum Trim P - Parchment (vinyl) This vehicle is equipped with a factory sunroof, air-conditioning, electric windows, power steering and a half continental roof. A relatively easy restoration for someone looking for a chrome bar V8 cruiser with all of the desirable options (sunroof!) and a super rare paint colour. The body is in quite good condition, floors, sills, plenum, wheel arches, lower quarters, boot corners, sunroof all with minimal to no rust. The rear of the roof gutters and a short section of the upper boot channel have rust holes. Genuine repair sections will be provided for these areas. Engine turns over and is matching number to the VIN and ID tag. Registration expired 10 years ago (2009). The original number plates "LKE 719" are still on the car and are in exceptional condition.
