We have now opened our doors for trade and will continue the same hours as Rusty Mals for the moment. Remember we only are allowed to use 25% of our capacity indoors. 28 people indoors, please understand, this is not our decision, it’s the current LAW from the ACT GOVERNMENT.... But our outdoor seating is more, SO COME ON SUNSHINE. ALSO Come on ANDREW BARR. It’s time for the 2 square metre per person rule. That would lift our capacity to 50%. That’s 50% which would help us and so many others break even.

14.01.2022 THE NEW RULES. Not much has changed, actually only the outside restrictions have been eased a little. WE DO NOT MAKE THESE LAWS - so please when we tell you, we are at our capacity, don't tell us there is plenty of room. We want as many of our customers as possible, but we do not and cannot, afford to pay fines for any breaches of the current law. ... The Options are as follows: Option One (25 person rule): Venues with usable space of 100sqm or less can have a maximum of 25 people across the whole venue (includes all indoor/outdoor spaces). Option Two (50 person rule): Venues with usable space between 101sqm and 200sqm can have 50 people across the whole venue (includes all indoor/outdoor spaces). Option Three (1:4/1:2 rule) for venues who wish to have more than 25 or 50 people they must take the following approach: o One person per four square metres, up to a maximum of 200 people, for each indoor space; and o one person per two square metres, up to a maximum of 200 people, for each outdoor space. It is important to note that venues cannot use a combination of the three options. You must choose one option to apply and ensure mandatory occupancy signage, as well as your venue’s COVID Safety Plan is updated to reflect the patron calculations. However, to support businesses, if a venue chooses to use Option Three (1:4/1:2 rule) to maximise the number of patrons due to a larger outdoor area, and that outdoor area is unable to be used due to inclement weather, venues can choose to use Options One or Two if this provides a higher volume of patrons than the 1:4 option.

We ate at Rusty's last night with friends, who are worried they have lost their engagement ring while washing their hands in the female loos. We would have left there around or just before 7pm.
