21.01.2022 We are very excited to welcome back regional Victorian visitors tomorrow!!! With these lifted restrictions, Rutherglen Caravan and Tourist Park will be open following very strict measures as outlined by the Victorian Health Officer... You MUST wear face masks at all times when outside site or cabin! ... Social distancing still applies. Hand sanitiser is provided both in the office and in amenities block, we ask that you please use it apon entry. Groups of 10 MAXIMUM, with only one immediate family unit or household ‘bubble’ (the nominted family that you have formed a bubble with) permitted per cabin, caravan and tent. Please note that we will not be welcoming anybody from Metropolitan Melbourne until their restrictions are eased! With the lack of patronage and no traffic on our popular sites, shut down has enabled the grass grow!! We have also conducted work to fix the center road’s surface and have new signage on the way!! 17.01.2022 Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update 26/03/2020 As of 11:59pm 25th March we have been directed to close to visitors. As this stage we have cancelled any and all booking up until the 20th April, however this may change as the weeks go on. We appriciate the support that you have all show in this time of unknown. 16.01.2022 Opening as of June 1!! With lifted restrictions, Rutherglen Caravan and Tourist Park will re-open to fully self-contained caravans and self contained cabins only. NO communal areas (camp kitchen, laundry, shower, BBQ's) are open for use)! These measures will remain in place until further notice. ... As stated by the Victorian Health Officer, social distancing still applies. We look forward to your company again! Dennis & Lisa

05.01.2022 Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update 24/03/2020 Dennis and Lisa are at this stage keeping Rutherglen Caravan and Tourist Park open. However, we have had to close our amenities block and camp kitchen to ensure that we can reduce the risk of contamination. There is one disabled bathroom open to park patron’s. There are people away from their homes or living in their vans. It is therefore vital that we try to remain open. ... Whilst the situation is constantly changing we recommend that you think of the health of others and yourself as a peak has not yet been reached and the number of cases daily continues to rise. CABINS will remain open to bookings of a max of 4 persons only to comply with the social distancing laws set out by the Department of Health. POWERED SITES will remain open NON-POWERED SITES will remain open This outbreak is having a significant economic impact on the tourism industry for all businesses in and around Rutherglen. We would love to see you all back in the area once this virus has run its course and travel restrictions are lifted. The bushfires had already hit most of us in the region hard over the summer and now this virus will unfortunately hit us even harder. We do ask that at some stage you do come back to the region and support the many Wineries, Cafes, Pubs and Restaurants as we rebound yet again.
