24.01.2022 08/01/2020 MRA REGATTA IS GOING AHEAD. At this stage, based on the weather forecast, and forecast air quality index, the MRA regatta will be going ahead. This decision will be reviewed on Friday morning in case the situation changes.... AT this stage RV - on advice from the CFA, are cautious about people being in the Lake Moodemere reserve during Friday. As a result, the following changes are probable: 1. We will be asking for the boat trailers as they arrive on Friday to be parked at a nearby safe place such as a farm (exact location to be confirmed.) 2. The start of the regatta will likely be delayed on Saturday. RV will model some start times and see what can work without the regatta finishing too late. It is likely that the revised start time will be around 10:00am Otherwise, all the other forecasts are looking good for the weekend. Refer to attachmed images. More information will be posted as it becomes available.
23.01.2022 Hi Everyone We are almost there with everything to be organised for this weekend's regatta. For the Saturday, we are looking for volunteers to take the coffee orders from 7:30am to roughly noon. WE are also looking for people to assist with the presentations from approx 10am to noon and then another person from 3pm to the end. For the Sunday, we are looking for someone to assist with the coffee brewing from 7am through to noon and another person to take the orders. We are ...also looking for someone to assist with bow numbers from noon through to the end. Finally, we are looking for someone who can tow the water cart home on Saturday evening, refill it, and return the cart on Sunday morning. The refilled water must be from the North East Water supply. Please let me know if you can assist. All small measures will be greatly appreciated. Thanks Paul See more

11.01.2022 UPDATE; MRA RUTRHERGLEN REGATTA. GREAT NEWS; Jan 2 2021 In discussions with the DHHS and as published by the Victorian Gov't, those living in our border communi...ties (i.e. Corowa & Albury) will continue to be able to access the ‘border bubble’ using their driver’s license to prove their residential address. Lake Moodemere sits comfortably within the bubble. This is a positive step forward for next weekend's regatta for those living in our NSW communities and we will continue to keep you updated on all relevant developments. For those who haven't yet, please place your regatta entries asap. #rutherglenlakerowingclub #staysafestayrowing

09.01.2022 Rutherglen and Lake Moodemere are safe from the Bushfires. Hume Highway is completely open and should remain so.
