21.01.2022 LAST WEEK OF LITTLE ATHS TOMORROW! Just a reminder that tomorrow night (Tuesday 15th) is our last night for 2020, we will be doing Program 1. After many PB’s by the athletes over the season, we will finish the night with a sausage sizzle and icy poles. We would like to thank the kids for doing so well all term, and also the parents/grandparents/carers for being so supportive and helpful. Without you there helping, we couldn’t run Little Athletics each week. ... We will hold a Presentation Night in Term 1.

18.01.2022 We’ve LOVED having so many new kids trying out Little Athletics to our Rutherglen Club! If your kids have had two weeks on a trial membership, it’s time to convert to a paid membership. This is also a reminder that if you’re an existing family with our Club, please register online this week!

18.01.2022 Who’s looking forward to Little Aths this afternoon? It’s going to be a hot one, so remember your hat, water bottle and sunscreen. We will be running Program 2 tonight: hurdles, shot put, 200m and long/triple jump. We have BRAND NEW shot puts to use, from our grant money!

14.01.2022 LITTLE ATHS IS ON! It looks like the wild weather will pass, and we will be able to meet as normal this afternoon. We will be running Program 2 today: 200m, shot put, hurdles, and either long jump or triple jump.

12.01.2022 REGISTER NOW FOR LITTLE ATHLETICS! New Athletes: Children who haven't been a member of Little Athletics previously can trial two weeks of Little Athletics for free before committing to full membership. Full membership is $100 for the season. Trial registrations can now be completed online: https://lavic.com.au/membership/new-member/ Returning Athletes: Families who were members last year (2019 season) will have received a renewal email today from Little Athletics Victoria. Returning Athletes must register online before commencing their season. Due to disruptions at the end of last season from COVID-19, we are offering our returning members from last season a discount of $12.30 per child, to be reimbursed after the $100 registration is paid.

11.01.2022 Another fantastic afternoon of competition yesterday (in overcast weather), with 23 kids achieving PB’s! A BIG round of applause to Jayden F who broke a Club Record for the 200m! Congratulations Jayden!

09.01.2022 What better way to start a Wednesday than by seeing our Club featured in our local Corowa Free Press newspaper! We have secured a grant for new equipment worth $3600. In other exciting news, congratulations to Jane McInnes for stepping up as our new President!

09.01.2022 LITTLE ATHLETICS IS BACK FOR TERM 4! GET YOUR KIDS OUT IN THE FRESH AIR FOR SOME FUN AND FITNESS! Our season will commence on Tuesday 6th October at 4.30pm. I...t will be a shorter season of 10 weeks, finishing by Christmas. The expected cost is $100 per child (online registrations available soon). 08.01.2022 Hello Athletes and families, We hope you are all keeping well during these strange times. You have probably already guessed this, but due to COVID-19, Little Athletics Victoria has asked all Clubs to delay Presentation Day to a more suitable date, and we will be following this advice. We are fortunate that our Club was able to complete our season, as many clubs have had their season cut short. Regards, RLAC Committee

07.01.2022 The upcoming season of Little Athletics in Rutherglen has been postponed indefinitely. With Stage 3 restrictions for COVID-19 coming back into effect, community sport is banned. If the situation improves, we will still have the option of running a shorter season in Term 4. Stay safe and stay active, Little Athletes!

05.01.2022 Little Athletics Victoria held their 2020 Centre Excellence Awards tonight. Rutherglen Little Athletics are so proud to announce that we were awarded not only the award for (Small) Centre Membership for the Northern Country Region, but also the overall award for Small Centres across all seven regions in Victoria! A BIG thank you to our Committee members, our sponsors, our parents and families and of course, our amazing Little Athletes! Congratulations also to @lavingtonjind...eralittleaths who received the award for (Large) Centre Membership for the Northern Country Region! 05.01.2022 We are announcing these winners tomorrow at the end of competition (approx. 6pm) but we are so excited, we can't help but share them now! If your child is receiving an award, we hope to see you at 4.30pm for our first week back, or at 6pm for our awards presentation!
