Senior Football Will continue to train pending a further announcement on the TDFL season after the state government announcement expected on June 21 in relation to crowds at community sport.... Junior Football Under 17's will commence training on Tuesday under current protocols. Matt will contact the playing group. Will continue to training following the current protocols. 08.01.2022 HUGE NEWS CATS FANS! We are incredibly excited to announce the appointment of Steve Owen as our Senior Coach and Director of Coaching for 2021! Steve spent his Junior career playing for North Ballarat in the TAC Cup before being drafted to the Geelong Football Club. Following his tenure at AFL club across the 2006/7 seasons, he returned to North Ballarat to play in the VFL. ... Steve then proceeded to play in 3 successive Senior Premierships for Queenscliff in 2011/12/13, including 2 as coach! Steve will be an invaluable asset to our squad moving forward bringing a wealth of knowledge to our young group. Steve has been doing an incredible job contacting players past and present for the upcoming season! 07.01.2022 More exciting news comes as the Tanner Twins have re-signed for the 2021 season after previously committing for 2020. Matt and James took out the U17’s B&F and R/U B&F in 2017 before crossing the border to do the same thing in the U18’s. Both boys have senior experience at O&M level are excited to be back at Barkly Park. #gocats

Bennet has spent the previous 2 seasons playing for Whorouly and we’re super excited about his return. A great addition both on and off field. And once again taking the reigns is Matt Andison. Matt is a familiar face around the club and will continue to do a fantastic job in developing the young talent we have at the Cats. ...
