21.01.2022 We wish to notify you that the Rutherglen Farmers' Markets will not be proceeding this Sunday, 12th July as hoped. With the changing circumstances and increased risks, the decision has been made to protect our community and stallholders. We were grateful to support local producers by having the market in June, but as we all know, circumstances have changed since. However 'where there is a will, there is a way' and if you would like to be connected to a stallholder to source their product, please touch base directly with them or message this Facebook page, and we will be happy to assist to make arrangements for you. Stay well, stay safe and thinking of you all xx

See you this Sunday from 9am and remember to please act COVIDSafe at the market

Gratefully that was achieved to ensure everyone was comfortable and could enjoy the atmosphere at the beautiful Lions Park. 13.01.2022 Thank you to our stallholders, patrons and volunteers for supporting the Rutherglen Farmers Market in 2020. Whilst we were unable to host markets every with this year, those that were held were largely supported by our stallholders, Rutherglen community and visitors. With a change in management mid-year, our loyal stallholders stayed attentive and engaged with the market and we thank you. Looking to 2021 we are excited to continue to deliver the Rutherglen Farmers Market on the second Sunday of each month. Let us know what you are looking forward to at the next Rutherglen Farmers Market on Sunday 10 January.

10.01.2022 We are on again this Sunday 13 December, for the final market of 2020 It is time to thank all of our amazing patrons and stallholders who have supported us during a year of transition and unknown times. We hope to see you this Sunday from 9 to end the year in style! Stallholder list to come shortly.

10.01.2022 We look forward to seeing you for our next market on Sunday 14th June as we restart on the second Sunday of every month. Our 'faces' of the market are looking forward to seeing you, but it won't be the same as usual. We won't have the usual tables and chairs to relax at, or entertainment such as a jumping castle or busker. In summary, it will be a chance merely to support our local producers; but with restrictions. More details about these will follow during the week.... See you at the Lions Park from 9am -12pm next Sunday, and let's hope for a glorious sunny Winter's day. Thanks to all for your support of the Rutherglen Farmers' markets; it is appreciated.

To accommodate COVID restrictions and keep our community safe, we have implemented the following: Masks are to be worn at all times by stallholders, patrons and volunteers Hand sanitiser is available upon entry Contact tracing is required for all patrons, volunteers and stallholders follow the signs! 02.01.2022 Destination Rutherglen have had much pleasure in managing the Rutherglen Farmers markets and wish to announce that in future, the Rutherglen Lions Club will be taking on this responsibility. This includes the ongoing management of the Rutherglen Farmers' markets Facebook page. The support and enthusiasm from the local 'regulars' of both stallholders and Rutherglen locals attending, has been much appreciated. I'm sure this will continue and only grow under Lions management... who are already familiar with the market by way of having a breakfast BBQ stall. We wish you all the very best in these changing times.
