16.01.2022 Workers from Opera Australia staged this musical performance to call on the Minister to save the jobs of over 40% of staff. Sign the petition at www.megaphon...e.org.au/petitions/save-opera-australia to call on Paul Fletcher to take action to save workers now. The minister has $250 million to help the arts industry that has been decimated by the pandemic and yet not a cent has actually been allocated. Opera Australia has also signaled it wants to tear up the enterprise agreements which regulate pay and conditions for musicians, choral performers, technicians, stage hands, wigs and wardrobes, props manufacturing and set construction.
