15.01.2022 Tonight is our fundraiser up the Sunshine Coast #HopeRolls. I am grateful that we get to hold this event in person (we are abiding by all the current QLD regulations and the venue has a COVID safe plan). I'll be sharing about WHI's work in Cambodia with the Mushroom Houses and about our TapEffect affordable clean water project. It'll be my first speaking in person event since February and I'm really looking forward to sharing the about our programs and the positive impact they have.

People in the Agay community, where World Hope International - Australia has a community programme, hold fast as the bridge that they rely for crossing over is slowly overwhelmed by the raging waters of the river. Apart from the effects of the typhoon, they are still battling #COVID19; where there are a recorded 402,820 cases and growing. This week, they brace themselves for #TyphoonUlysses. After Prince’s mother passed away when he was only 3 weeks old, he spent most of his childhood moving from family member to family member, with none of them being able to afford his education. As a result, Prince’s education was inconsistent, and he experienced frequent periods of absence from theclassroom throughout 8th grade. In 2016, Prince qualified for the World Hope International Child Sponsorship Program that was being initiated where he lives in Sierra Le...one. Prince applied himself so well to his studies that he graduated last year with the second-best grades out of all the other children in the Child Sponsorship Program!
