20.01.2022 During these days of isolation, when face-to-face sessions are no longer recommended practice, I am offering the following three counselling services: 1. Telephone counselling I call you at the time of the appointment and I send an invoice by email/text. [Fee: $80 per 55 minute session or $60 for people with a valid concession card.] 2. Videocall I call you at the time of the appointment using your videoconference app of choice FaceTime, Skype, Whatsapp, Zoom, etc. and ...I send an invoice by email/text. [Fee: $80 per 55 minute session.] 3. NEW! Instant messaging/Texting or Email subscription service. During the months that we do not meet face-to-face, you are welcome to text or email as often as you like, and I will respond promptly, and within 48 hours. I will send an invoice at the end of each month. This subscription service will end once we meet face-to-face, by telephone or videocall, or when you notify me that it is no longer needed. Please share creative ways to make this house arrest as productive and enjoyable as possible. Any ideas are welcome! Here is one idea to get started: One friend said she plans to clean one shelf out a day, so at the end of the confinement she has clean and sorted cupboards.

Given the statistics that 1 in 5 women and 1 in 10 men have experienced childhood sexual abuse (see link below), it is not surprising that this becomes a highly charged conversation. If you are in the privileged group of not being affected, please be sensitive in your comments. If you are in the affected group, please be kind to yourself, and seek help if needed.
