22.01.2022 Here’s a little project we have been working on over the last few weeks for Our good friends and a long time customer Mitchell and Christine from Alexander transport. Mitch always wanted a 2.9meter big cab so we finanlly sourced one in Queensland. After a lengthy few weeks the truck was ready to pick up. We finally got the truck home after crossing a lot of hoops then we assessed the truck completely. It was a bit of a disappointment as the truck has been let go since we last... seen it in 2014. Thanks to our dedicated team of staff and subcontractors we made this possible for Mitch and Christine. Mitch wanted the truck to be reliable again without any major breakdowns on the road. The cab was given a full buff and paint correction. Interior was fully detailed All tanks and wheels got a sand and polish Bullbar sand and polish New tyres all round supplied by RV mobile New super single rims on steer Full engine time up Major service all fluids flushed and replaced Replace front wheel bearings All new Pulleys and tensioners on the engine Horton fan rekit New alternator Chasing air leaks and marking the truck hold air New Round hats on the intakes New grill bars and mesh New Drivers seat base We fitted new bracket behind the cab for air lines and electrical leads as the old one had been removed and the Suzi coils were over the deck plates We rewired the trailer electrical side of things Replubmbed all trailer air lines New cab lights New headlights and high beam lights New driving lights New door locks and new central locking remotes made to work again New electric window regulators and bailey channels Last but not least to keep Mitch cool we got the widows tinted for him. There is still a little more to do on it But Mitchell wants to get to work so we will be doing it over the next few weeks It’s has been a long few weeks and a lot of late nights I m sure the Alexander family will appreciate their new rig thanks for your business Christine and Mitchell good luck and all the best with your new investment

19.01.2022 Here is another project completed in our little workshop, as most of you know the boss man has a soft spot for the 2.9M bigcabs. So when we were presented with the opportunity to own this Ex ITL 2.9M Bigcab, we jumped on that opportunity. The truck was brought over the phone without an inspection. Once the trip from North Qld was complete the assessment began as to what repairs needed to be done. The next few weeks followed with extensive repairs and refurbishment and a lot ...of late nights. The engine needed a set of injectors and various sensors replaced along with a tune up New intercooler Sump reseal Front wheel bearing service The truck was given a major service All the air system was given a good going over to eliminate all air leaks It got a fresh set of tyres and rims All the alloy got a good buff Cab polish abs interior detail Repairs on ice pack to get it to function properly All belts replaced All cooling system hoses replaced with any valves that needed replacing and coolant flush A new drivers seat Fresh set of guards abs poles Brand new turntable The whole dash was stripped and all previously burnt wiring was replaced and wiring installed correctly All new door locks and remote New set of batteries 2 new uhf radios and antennas New work lights New bunk curtains rails and clips New steering wheel Window washer system fully over hauled New roof lights and upper row added New stainless visor Custom made tank skirts Bullbar changed to a OEM type bumper New LED headlights and taillights Installation of a ABS trailer lead New engine tunnel cover We would like to thank all our staff and contractors for the effort they have put into this. Without you guys it wouldn’t have been possible and lastly to my wife for putting up with all the late nights of working on the rig. She is one cool rig and we hope she serves us well
