25.01.2022 Awesome day out on the water today thanks to Roaring 40s Kayaking! Picked the perfect day to give a bunch of our crew a taste of sea kayaking. Cheers

23.01.2022 Yesterday we officially unveiled our new ute in partnership with the Risdon Vale Neighbourhood Centre! We also showed off our fleet of mountain bikes which were sourced through Julie Collins MP and the Stronger Communities grant program. We'd also like to say a huge thanks to the Tasmanian Community Fund for providing the finances for the ute and to Powell Motor Group for finding us an awesome vehicle, passing it along at cost price and throwing in a warranty. Finally a big thanks to Together Church Hobart for the oversight and support in running this program for many many years. It is amazing what opportunities can be opened up for small groups like ours when we all work together!

22.01.2022 Friday Feedback - some Friday's we will share some of the impact the program is having from the young people themselves. This one from a 15yr old... I have been able to use problem solving skills that I have learnt through bikes and apply them to other areas.

20.01.2022 We are looking for Storage Space in Hobart. Does anyone have some free space to store around 100 bikes for up to 8 months? We have so many our stores are overflowing and to re-open we need to create some space. If you know of anything or anyone then please get in touch here or on 0444 515 008. Needs to be low cost and weather proof please :)

08.01.2022 The Bike Collective took part in the Kellevie 6hr mountain bike race again on the weekend. This year we had not one but 2 teams entered as well as Alex who rode the whole 6 hours by himself! Awesome effort by all and a great event to just get out there and have a go at mountain bike racing.

05.01.2022 We'd like to put out a big thanks to Under Down Under Tours for donating a whopping 42 bikes and heaps of parts to the Collective! These will continue to help us mentor and build a whole range of life skills in young people around Risdon Vale. Cheers!

02.01.2022 Unfortunately due to COVID-19 we are shutting down our workshop operations for the foreseeable future. **Update - this now includes no more sales for the time being :( However, we are still accepting donations, so if you are doing a COVID cleanup and have some bikes we are very happy to take them off your hands.
