23.01.2022 Got these photos from an American RV group. Pics of the aftermath of an ef0 tornado that ripped through a trailer park in North Texas.

20.01.2022 If you’re having trouble understanding what’s happening with your 12volt system, sometimes you just have to go back to basics.

19.01.2022 These BOS stabiliser legs have made a real difference to our caravanning experience. Unlike traditional units, you can use a battery drill on this without risk of stripping the gears. Highly recommended. https://rvdaily.com.au/product-review-bos-caravan-stabilis/

19.01.2022 We had some of our best camping experiences on the WA coast. Here's a taste for those interested.

16.01.2022 Here’s an amazingly simple and tasty Thai Fish Curry for the days when you’re lucky enough to actually catch some fish...!

16.01.2022 Last year we had some trouble with our air-conditioner. It turns out we should have serviced it a lot more than we did. In any case, there are 5 main causes for these roof top air-conditioners to fail and at least 4 of them you can do something about.

15.01.2022 Does your caravan need to lose some weight? How does 200kg sound? It's a lot easier than you think. https://www.facebook.com/516825788496737/posts/1581037912075514/

15.01.2022 RV Daily editor, Tim, asked me for our thoughts on the humble bog bucket. Turns out there a lot to talk about. https://www.facebook.com/516825788496737/posts/1569221096590529/

14.01.2022 Some of our most useful gear didn't cost us a fortune. In fact, this stuff cost less than $50 at Bunnings and we use it every day.

13.01.2022 Here’s a great range of products from a small Aussie company. We have one of their work lights and it is amazing. Highly recommended. Slade International

11.01.2022 Next time you're at a caravan park and you think you've had a tough day, spare a thought for the managers. They have to put up with a lot. Their stories will make your toes curl...!!

11.01.2022 Looking for something different to cook this Christmas? Try our maple glazed baked ham. It’s delicious..!

10.01.2022 Well we've said farewell to Geraldton and started our easterly migration. As sad as it is to say good bye to our friends Lynne and Malcolm and to leave the beautiful West Coast, it does feel good to be on the move again. We have a couple of nights here at Mingenew to explore the area and hopefully see some of the wildflowers you hear so much about.... The caravan park here is just delightful. It's small but surrounded by bushland. Perfect.

09.01.2022 If you’re recently purchased a second had RV, its a good idea to have the electrical system checked out by a professional. Here’s why. https://rvdaily.com.au/quick-tip-have-your-rv-electrical-w/

09.01.2022 Australia has so many spectacular places to visit, but this is near the top of the list. The Kalbarri SkyWalk is perched on a cliff-top with two 100-metre-high platforms that extend 17 and a 25 metres out from the edge of the Murchison Gorge. While it doesn’t have a glass floor, you can still see through the grated walkway to the ground below. It’s quite unnerving at first but, once out there, the views are amazing. ... Given access to the SkyWalk is included in the $15 National Park entry fee, the value for money is extraordinary. There’s also a nice cafe’ nearby and the popular Nature’s Window is a short drive away. Definitely one to put on your bucket list if you’re visiting the area.

07.01.2022 Finally, the change to the Tripple Zero service that will benefit travellers particularly in regional and remote Australia.

05.01.2022 Interesting news from New Zealand this morning with the tourism minister wanting to ban all non self contained camper hire. https://www.facebook.com/516825788496737/posts/1629556923890279/

05.01.2022 Australia has some big holes in the ground and they tell a story of galactic proportions. We tell you how you can get to see them.

04.01.2022 Before you buy a generator, you need to understand how they are rated otherwise you be caught short on Watts.

04.01.2022 Recently, while we were visiting the WA town of Carnarvon, I went and visited the Space and Technology museum. If you’re into the history of space travel, you really must come and visit this place. It’s full of fantastic artefacts and interactive displays. I think I spent 3 hours here. One of the main attractions is the huge 30m OTC communications dish that was integral in the early NASA space missions. Unfortunately, the maintenance and upkeep of the dish is beyond the finances of the local council and now the dish is facing demolition. It will be a shame if it does go as it is big part of the popular tourist attraction. Hopefully someone will come up with a solution that preserves this important part of our history.

03.01.2022 Battery power tools that are awesome for camping. We bought Ryobi gear but you can get similar tools from other brands.

01.01.2022 If you're experiencing problems with water pressure in your caravan, this may be the issue. Fortunately its a simple fix. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1558370057675633&id=516825788496737&sfnsn=mo&extid=N9c4LCEFLri2Uf4v
