19.01.2022 I wont apologise for the actions of others. It would’ve been nice to notify people in person. That being said. My father, John Henry McDougall, husband to Debbie McDougall, who passed away on Friday (20/11/50-28/02/2020) was a great man who taught by example. When faced with a dilemma, I find myself coming back to one simple question. What would Dad do? His character is the foundation of my conscience and his teachings are endless. Dad was strong in body, in spirit and in com...mitment. Dad tried never to let another man down and did his utmost to fulfil every obligation he ever undertook. His word was his bond and he was proud to be who he was and where he was . Dad relished the good things in life, travel, food, friends and family, hunting, fishing or playing poker on his I-pad. The number of people who called my Dad a friend was many. He was loyal. His faithfulness to the important people in his life could be seen and Dad could always be counted on to be there. We will always remember your special smile, caring heart and warm embrace. You being there for Deb and all of us through good times and bad. We will always remember you Dad as there will never be another one to replace you in our hearts and the love we will always have for you. Rip
