10.01.2022 40th guitar of 2020. Style 3 built from Tasmanian Blackwood. A really beautiful build to end such a crazy year!

10.01.2022 Just a few of the guitars I built in 2020. What a year! It started with taking the leap from my small home workshop into a 150m (1600sq ft) industrial unit that gave me the much needed space to keep my head above water with a safer and more efficient space to store and process tonewoods and build guitars. Then COVID-19 hit and it all became a blur. Initial uncertainty and contingency plans quickly made way for amazing support from folks all over the world who turned to handc...rafted instruments to get them through the challenges 2020 threw at them. I finished the year having built 40 Weissenborn guitars and lap steels. I’ve shipped guitars to every corner of the globe... including many to new friends in regions that have fared much worse than I have in Brisbane, Australia. The support this year allowing me to keep doing what I love has been amazing. Here’s to an amazing 2021.
