24.01.2022 P Bass Tone searching today. Doing my best today to research, play and replicate other players/artists who I admire. It’s a fun journey trying to replicate other players feel, tone and technique, it challenges you and makes you realize so many flaws especially once you press record I love all aspects of replicating others, I believe once you’ve done it multiple times it crafts you and makes you a way better player. (No I didn’t break the wedding budget to get it) I’m also beyond grateful for a girl that supports me, understands, cheers me up, and encourages me to do what I do the way she does. I remember applying for Australian Music Week thinking there’s no way I’d be selected and yet, I was. I don’t think I’d ever been more nervous but it was sooo much fun and really, it was the beginning of everything that was to come. 2020 has been many things to us all - good and bad - but one thing it’s been for me is a year of growing my trust, belief and confidence in myself. I’ve learned to show up for myself and as myself in ways I never had before. I know it may seem little but markers such as this, are such humble reminders of how much I've grown and how things have transformed since then (including my love show). On Sunday, I’m playing at LazyBones Lounge Restaurant & Bar with Ryan Edward Johns & Alex Borella (my amazing friends and band mates who help bring my ideas and imagination into reality) and we’d love to see you there! To me, it’s a night to celebrate ourselves and all the little things throughout this year despite the adversities we’ve faced.
