24.01.2022 How do you break the cycle of relying on the convenience of food delivery services like Uber Eats (which can be both physique AND wallet destroying)? Answer: make your own home cooked food so convenient, that no delivery service could ever possibly match it. Now i can't predict the future and advances in technology, but im pretty damn confident that no food delivery would ever get to my place faster than i can defrost something out of the freezer.... Bulk cooking is a lifesaver, especially if you are pushed for time mid week due to work/kids/whatever else life throws your way. As a nice bonus you get to save money which can then be used for doing other cool shit instead, like taking the missus out for a date night. Other times you find yourself hours late for dinner, so you throw together pork ribs & rice and you and your wife end up eating it on a little table on the floor of your bedroom, while your son sleeps in the bed next to you. When shit gets messy, you make the best of what you've got. ... Same goes for fitness really. Staying consistent means dealing with the times shit gets messy, and doing the best you can, with what you have. It's by no means a failure scenario, however.
