22.01.2022 With a luff of 18.8m, this sail barely fits in the loft. #sailmaking #sailmaker #sail #ryansails

20.01.2022 First new sail of 2019!

18.01.2022 Just some photos to show what we have been up to in the last month. Plus our new sewing machine!

17.01.2022 This sail is about to start its new life as a furling staysail. #sailing #sails #sailmaking

16.01.2022 We had a few unusual visitors today. I don't think they were interested in a new sail. #birds #wildlife #visitors #sailmaking

14.01.2022 We are reopening thanks to the easing of restrictions. If you need to come by the loft to pick up or drop off a sail or cover please follow these guidelines: -wear a mask -use the hand sanitizer provided... -keep 1.5m distance between yourself and others See more

13.01.2022 Due to the coming restrictions coming regarding face masks, from Thursday 23rd July you will not be able to enter the loft without a face covering. Stay safe everyone!

13.01.2022 The front of the loft just got painted. Next to repaint the sign...

13.01.2022 Well done Melbourne! Double for 14 days! Double 14 day average! Keep it up! #doughnuts

12.01.2022 With summer fast approaching, to help you protect your headsails, we're offering 10% off new UV strips and UV strip repairs! Bring your sails in before 18/10/19 to be eligible.

11.01.2022 This little guy was just laying around while we were fitting a cover at RMYS.

11.01.2022 We got new shirts just before stage 4 restrictions came into effect. Now we can finally wear them!

10.01.2022 A rather nasty hole in this spinnaker.

10.01.2022 Reshaping a Spinnaker! This spinnaker was too flat in the middle which was causing it to collapse. By adding more area to the middle of the sail without adding any length to the luffs it should cease collapsing.

05.01.2022 Unfortunately, we are going back into stage 3 restrictions. To help people follow social distancing rules, here are some of the things we are doing. - Continuing curbside pickup/drop-off (just call us to organise) - Supplying hand sanitiser for everyone at the door - We ask that customers keep to the 1.5m distance guidelines whilst at the loft (and all places they visit) - We also encourage the use of masks whilst out and about... In good news, we are still allowed to go boating, as long as all those on board are part of the same household. Stay safe everyone.

04.01.2022 A three piece boat cover for a Cheoy Lee 31 with a mizzen rig.

03.01.2022 A few photos of one of the bigger jobs we have done recently. The sail being constructed is a mainsail off a Leopard 40 catamaran. We also made a new lazy jack cover and headsail for this particular boat.

02.01.2022 New mainsail for a Mottle 33 with full length battens with a leech line that runs down the luff for easy adjustment.

01.01.2022 Little side project going on. Fixing the vanturi on a corsair. #corsairsailing #boatrepair
