19.01.2022 https://www.sailing.org.au//tas-may-update-relaxation-of-/ Today sees the Stage 1 easing of COVID-19 restrictions in Tasmania. Australian Sailing has release...d a statement on what this means for sailing on their website. Key points include: Sailing training in groups of up to 10 including coaches and supporters are allowed with current social distancing rules applied (1.5m) including on coach boats. This means only single-handed sailing allowed. Two- and three-handed boats are still not allowed unless the crew are all members of the same household. Change rooms, training rooms etc. remain closed. All instruction and briefings must be outdoors. No organised racing is allowed but training drills are as long as social distancing rules are maintained.
