25.01.2022 Done & Dusted for another year!!! An absolutely awesome day, thanks again to everyone who came, sponsored or lent a hand!! The winner can be from any age group who participates in the Sporting Events at both Gymkhanas & who gains the most points overall!! 24.01.2022 ONLY 3 WEEKS TO GO!!!! STOCKMANS CHALLENGE While the sporting events are running from 8:30am to lunch time so will the Stockmans Challenge!!... The Stockmans Challenge is specifically designed to challenge the horse and rider with similar tasks faced by a Stockman! While the course is not released until the day, past obstacles in our Stockmans Challenge have included; Lighting a fire Riding over a tarp Open & shut a gate Side pass over a pole Jump obstacles & these will be run in age groups as follows; 15-17 years Over 17 years Book it in the calendar, with plenty of other events going on throughout the day for people with and without horses, follow our Facebook page to check out the program and stay up to date! 15.01.2022 Its that time of year again!! The Youth Council are getting ready for the 2019 Rydal Gymkhana We are super excited for the 5th annual gymkhana to be held on Sunday, October 27th!! As always the Youth Council are very keen to welcome any & all NEW MEMBERS, growing from just 5 members in 2015 we now have around 25 members and growing!! 14.01.2022 RYDAL SHOWGROUND WOOL PAVILION UPGRADE The wool pavilion at Rydal Showground will undergo a major upgrade thanks to funding from the NSW Government. Bathurst... MP Paul Toole today announced a grant of $62,112 for the works. He said the investment is part of the $16.5 million Crown Reserves Improvement Fund to upgrade reserves and facilities on Crown lands in regional communities doing it tough. Regional NSW is in the grip of the worst drought on record. Its important that each of our regional towns have places to come together as a community which is why we are investing in upgrades to facilities such as the wool pavilion at Rydal Showground, Mr Toole said. Crown land covers 42 per cent of the state and is designed to be used by the people of NSW and support organisations that are the lifeblood of our communities. Mr Toole said the wool pavilion project will see it upgraded to become a multi-function building that meets the current building requirements and heritage guidelines.

09.01.2022 After lunch & the excitement of the Novelty Events its straight onto the; Ironman & Ironwomen Challenge This is an individual, you must be 17 or over and its a test of skill & speed which can include setting up panels, hanging out washing, eating saos and cracking a whip!! Next up is the Farmers Challenge;... This is a team of 4 event, teams must work together to complete common farm tasks under time to race the end!! The age groups are; - 17 & Under - Over 17 years Teams can b made up throughout the day & if you dont have a team we will do our best to find you one!!
