20.01.2022 Statement from the head of football Simon Doueihi Rydalmere Lions FC. NO OPEN TRIALS As the season comes to an end for our Youth & Sap program and our Seniors now in pre-season, I just wanted to say a big Thank You to all our coaching staff and our volunteers for the 2020 season.... To our TD Anthony Harb a big Thank You to you and all your hard work on & off the field. It is without a doubt and really exciting that Anthony has accepted to stay on as Rydalmere Lions FC Technical Director for the 2021 season. Anthony in the 2020 season has gone above & beyond all expectation and with that for the first time in Rydalmere Lions short history we managed to retain on all playing groups from the under 13s to 18s 84% retention among that 95% in our Sap program a job well done and as a club couldn’t be prouder. Trials and spots for the 2021 season will be limited due to our high retention of players but it does not mean you can’t register your interest for 2021 as of this stage their will not be any open trials only invite with the current squads when trial dates open from FNSW. We do apologise that we do not have open trials but as a club we are extremally proud of the effort of players coaches especially Anthony Harb Our Technical Director for the success in 2020. Hosted at their plush new artificial surface at Rydalmere Park, the Football bug continues to shine at the club as smiling faces across all ages and genders flock their spiritual ground playing the world game with the sun shining on them. 06.01.2022 Summer Soccer Update! Unfortunately we have to postpone Tonight’s Summer Competition due to Wet Weather. As a club we do not want any children getting injured or sick especially due to the current pandemic. Wednesday & Friday night comps will still be going ahead.
