07.01.2022 LATEST UPDATE - COVID-19 Statement Water Polo NSW 17th March 2020 Water Polo NSW as advised on the 16th March 2020 continues to monitor the impact of the COVID 19 Pandemic daily. Health NSW has updated its advice regarding sporting events and competition on Monday 16th March 2020.... With the updated advice on hand as of late Monday afternoon and continued closures of required infrastructure to stage our matches, it is apparent that the direction to complete the Sydney Metropolitan Competition announced yesterday by the Board of WPNSW is now not prudent nor possible. Therefore, the Sydney Summer Metropolitan Competitions remaining games are cancelled immediately. Clubs who completed the regular season leading their respective competition table will be declared Minor Premiers of the Summer 2019-20 season. As information and conditions regarding COVID 19 are updated regularly by the relevant authorities WPNSW will review the decision to run, cancel or postpone the Sydney Winter Metropolitan Competition in May 2020 NSW State Team Academies will cease training until May 2020, where the WPNSW Board will review their programs with the available updates at that time. Regional Competitions are advised to make decisions regarding their summer final series based on the information they have available for their respective regions taking advice from the relevant local authorities to them.

01.01.2022 And it’s a wrap! Seven games were played today and the final game of the day was a win to L14’s. It’s been a great learning experience for all players and nice little break for the parents and siblings who came along. A big thank you to our coaches Alexia Constantinou M17, Stewart Randall M 14, Penny Hodgers L16 and Cathryn Scarano L14. Thank you to our managers, DavidK, Karen O'Riordan, Carol Lydford Denmeade, they did a great job ensuring everyone was at the right place at the right time. A special thank you goes out to Rick Selby our tournament coordinator, who organized over 80 people to be in the same place and enjoy team time.
