We have been overwhelmed by all the support you have shown us during these tough times, and are truely grateful to have such a supportive community like we do. Thus, we have been working extremely hard to be able to serve you all once again. N’ are excited to anounce that because of all your love and support, in addition to the helping hand of the Australian Government, we will be re-opening ...from our Dandenong home once again on the 20th of May! 16.01.2022 As stage 3 restrictions are reintroduced throughout Victoria, we will continue to operate similarly to earlier in the year. Selling baked goods and takeaway only, as there will no longer be any seating unfortunately. Also, please note we will be reducing the quantities that we stock on our shelves. 16.01.2022 Please remember that as restrictions continue to ease and we move through the different COVID stages, we please ask that all customers follow the rules outlined by the Victorian Goverment to ensure the health and safety of all. To help assist all our customer we have provided spacing guides on the ground, as well as a hand sanitising station that is conveniently located in the cafe. Lastly with these new restrictions we are now allowed to have 6 people seated at one time. Although, due to the limited space available, we please ask that if you wish to come and dine in that you message us on Facebook to reserve a 30 minute slot. Thank you.



15.01.2022 New Trading Hours! As stage 4 restrictions roll out and the health advice remains to #stayhome. To limit the number of contact hours we and our staff have, we have decided to reduce our opening hours. Saturday will remain as before, however, we will now only be operating till 2pm, Wednesday to Friday. ... We hope you are all staying safe and healthy during these uncertain times

12.01.2022 We are extremely excited to announce our new partnership with Uncle's Smallgoods! We know a lot of you have been asking for us to deliver, and now with the help of the wonderful team at Uncle's we can! You can now order our breads right from the Uncle's website, alongside their delicious range of traditionally woodsmoked and handcrafted meats, fish, and poultry products! At this stage, we are only starting with our core traditional, sourdough breads. However, plan to overtime... increase this to our entire range of bread, and sweet products. Deliveries - with our breads ordered - will be delivered between Wednesday and Friday. So be sure to place your order before then to have your order of fresh bread and meats in before the weekend! 11.01.2022 Big announcement: Dear valued customers, As hard as it is to say, due to the COVID-19 outbreak and subsequent economic downturn, we have unfortunately been left with no other option than to close the bakery, with our final day being Saturday the 2nd of May.... Please note, however, that while this means we will no longer call 101 - 103 Foster St, Dandenong home. We do plan on continuing to bake fresh bread, cakes, and pastries in the future and are currently looking at ways to adapt. At this stage, the plan is to operate from our online store, delivering your fresh goods straight to your door. However, this won't be possible for 4 - 8 weeks, as we're still currently organizing new permits and looking for a new premise to bake from. Now, if you would like to place an order to stock up for that time, you are more than welcome to either send us a message or order straight from our website www.ryecrustbakery.com.
