A huge thanks to all of you for helping to keep our beaches beautiful and our marine life safe! Please join us for our next beach clean on Sunday 17th March. 02.01.2022 Today we started creating boomer bears which we will donate to local emergency services to hand to children in distress. These teddies are made out of donated ...flannelette sheets which we cannot use for boomerang bags. We also assisted with Uniforms 4 all and we helped almost 50 families with uniform ..we altered hems and gave out info on where to find other help on the peninsula We told families about food 4 all and where these services are available. We had one single dad of 3 in tears as he left as he was so pleased he had got his children clothed ! We took details of families still needing help and we aim to help as many as we can before school resumes. Some people just popped in to donate uniforms . Some where desperate for help . What a fabulous community we live in Thanks goes to all the Seawind boomers and the Mornington Shire and also to Antonella Celi for calling in and being our tea lady .. great job everyone x WE WILL BE HOLDING MORE UNIFORM SWAPS DURING THE NEXT SCHOOL HOLIDAYS .. or if help is really needed please send a pm See more
