18.01.2022 First review for 2021. Welcome back. "This place is a real charmer, inside and out. It's comfortable, cosy and stylish - and the garden has to be seen to be believed. We could spend hours and hours relaxing in the hammock or eating and drinking at the funky, brightly-coloured outdoor dining table - or the many other spots to hang out among the lush landscaping. They've really captured that Palm Springs vibe. The neighbourhood is also great, with lots of lovely, hilly streets to explore. To top it all off, John is a really responsive, helpful host. I'd definitely recommend this property to others!".

The weather wasn’t great so we couldn’t make use of the outside area, but we found the open plan kitchen/dining/lounge area to be cosy and great for our little group. Well-equipped kitchen for cooking at home. Close to the beach and a big Woolies. Also close to the lovely Hot Springs! Great stay; highly recommend John’s place '

Communication with John was great and check in was seamless. The place is really impressive - we particularly loved the backyard and all the touches throughout the house. I’d definitely stay here again.'

The garden is absolutely stunning and really transports you to some sort of tropical dessert oasis. So many well thought out touches in this space including glass sliding doors in the bedrooms so that all the bedrooms can access the outdoor space. Great rainfall shower head in a really generously sized shower. Light and bright living area.... The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed and the heating was more than adequate on the chilly weekend that we stayed. An easy 10 minutes drive into Sorrento to access some great eateries or a similar time to the hot springs it’s a great location. John was a pleasure to deal with and we felt very at home. We highly recommend the Rye Palm Springs and hope to visit again soon! See more

The gardens are immaculate, the rooms spacious & incredibly comfortable beds! Added touches of provided board games made a chilly day more fun & John sharing his local knowledge & recommendations for breakfast (Peninsula Pantry) was brilliant! Well located to Rye beach, a flat 6k ride to Blairgowrie, and a 15 min easy walk to Rye Pub, ice cream and fish and chips!! Access to Netflix kept the kids entertained when we needed some quiet!! Lovely to look out at the beautiful garden from almost every window. We really enjoyed our stay."

The beds were comfortable, information as to the area was available, and all things for a comfortable stay were in place. The best part of our stay was the garden. We enjoyed sitting in it so much, and the care taken to have it look so good was obvious.'

01.01.2022 Our latest review from Marc. 'Beautiful house in a stunning location.. just minutes from the peninsula hot springs and local wineries. The backyard was amazing but unfortunately we couldn’t take full advantage because of the rainy weather! so had to settle for the living room which was really cosy and comfy, perfect for just relaxing with a wine and playing some games or watching a movie. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would love to stay again in summer to enjoy the stunning back gardens.'
