25.01.2022 FYI, did you know the hours that VRA Rescue NSW personnel are available over the festive season, to assist our communities across NSW?

24.01.2022 Take the time to download this app. It could save your life.

24.01.2022 Everybody has to do their best to get us through this time. When you see my friends from the VRA out at jobs you will notice they may have masks and gloves on as well as their usual protective gear. #vrarescue #covid19

24.01.2022 Come down catch up with us at the Local Rylstone/Kandos Show. We have a Raffle going so come buy yourself a chance in our prizes. Thanks to our local member Paul Toole MP for calling in to visit. #vrarescue #paultoolemp

24.01.2022 Thanks to our friends at Bega Rescue Squad we (Rylstone/Kandos) are echoing the same message. COVID - 19 UPDATE There are a few changes that have taken place with the way Rylstone/Kandos Rescue Squad operates that you might notice.... We hope you understand and can help us through the next few weeks. Some of the changes include: We are cancelling all non essential community engagements, training and meetings for a while. If you come to our rescue shed for any non life threatening issues we are not going to be able to let you in. Please call by phone instead. We wont be able to show you or your children through our vehicles and let them sit in it for a while. And unfortunatly we wont be out and about due to the Social distancing rules for a while. Behind the scenes we are doing a lot of hard work to continously decontaminate our Rescue vehicles, uniforms and headquarters to ensure we (the Rescue team) and you (the community) are protected. We are still 24/7 responding to emergencies and have plans in place to keep you (the community) and our team safe. Thank you for your ongoing support we could not do this without everyones support and understanding. #covid19 #vrarescue

24.01.2022 Thank you to those who have served and are currently serving our amazing Country. Take a moment to reflect on how lucky we are that even through the tough time we have and still are experiencing the ANZAC spirit is always there. #lestweforget #vrarescue

20.01.2022 What a year we have all had in 2020. At Rylstone on Saturday evening we came together with representatives from all local services for a BBQ and to conduct a PTSD/Mental health workshop. Big thank you to our guest lecturer Mr Gary Raymond for your very informative discussions and experiences. Also thank you to our fellow emergency colleagues for being apart of our night and your camaraderie.

19.01.2022 Our volunteers do not crawl out of bed at 4am to respond to a call for help for the praise, they do it to help their community in a time of need. Each and every... one of them deserves a round of applause as "Thanks" Thank you to all first responders for the amazing things you do! #vrarescue #ThankaFirstResponder #TAFRD See more
