20.01.2022 We are looking forward to this!

18.01.2022 Big thanks to Coolangatta Pie Shop for supplying the smoko while we repair their corroded burners and stove sub-frame.

17.01.2022 Specifications have been worked out and the order has been placed for our next commercial-size pit build. This one is completely custom, 750mm dia x 2000mm long reverse flow chamber. Firebox will be positioned on the non-traditional left hand side. It will have a height adjustable charcoal grate and ..... a gas-fired lava rock grill on one side. It will have 2 chamber doors, custom 'cart wheel' style steel wheels and the customer doesn't want it painted so it ends up with a r...ustic look. Most unusual of all. It will be made to break down into smaller parts .... so it can be air freighted to India. We will put pics up when its finished in a couple of months.

17.01.2022 I have finally decided to start a new page for the Rystar Smoker pits. Here I will share news and photos of the pits we build as well as recipes and new on the low n slow industry in general.

16.01.2022 Daniel Riccardo is on board the low and slow movement.

15.01.2022 Rystar Smokers has an exhibit booked for this event in Burleigh. Unfortunately business is too busy to do the exhibit, but we will be attending.

07.01.2022 We will be judging again at this event!

04.01.2022 Get the kids into cooking on fire. Family fun

04.01.2022 By far the biggest smoker we have made to date. 750 dia x 2400 reverse flow. But this one is also getting a gas-fired lava rock grill fitted into it. Cutting the doors and fitting the grill racks tomorrow. Everything has to un-bolt to make smaller modules for shipping. This pit will be on a plane to India on Friday!

02.01.2022 Here she is. Completed a few weeks ago but only just got around to putting the pics up. Drop-in lava rock grill on one side, charcoal grill on the other side. Grillin' during the day, smokin' at night. Shipped to India first then onwards to be the first ever smoker pit in Bahrain.
