17.01.2022 Always nice to have fancy mares like this Tulara girl owned and campaigned by Dan Bourne, in the barn. Blossom has come to maintain fitness on our treadmill whilst our friendly neighbours at South Eastern Equine Hospital carry out work to flush an embryo from her. Exercise is an effective method to improve uterine clearance post breeding which is an important aspect to achieve positive results.

13.01.2022 Sometimes it doesn’t matter how hard you try to keep them safe and sound they just have other plans. Having said that it really is amazing what the body can do to heal its self. Dolly 8 weeks on looking great with minimal scarring and well on the way to a full recovery.

10.01.2022 HAPPY HOME TAIL! After 4 weeks of intensive eye treatments for an aggressive fungal keratitis, today Harry had his treatment tube removed and gets to go home just in time for Santa with his family. Harry has been a pleasure in every way so we thank Vanessa for trusting us with her boy.

09.01.2022 Tough or crazy?! Lily McGregor and her 2* eventer have been coming for regular treadmill sessions in preparations for Melbourne 3 day event. An unfortunate mishap on the week end on a young horse puts Melbourne out of Lily’s sights. But her commitment clearly not damaged, 6 days and 1 surgery after breaking wrist and ankle here she is, to keep her boy fit. We hope you have a speedy recovery lily. PM to book sessions.

01.01.2022 WE ARE HIRING: CASUAL WORKER We are currently looking for a reliable person and hard working person to help out in our Rehab stable. Tasks include but not limited to feeding horses, cleaning stables, medicating horses and putting horses on the treadmill. Successful applicant will be confident working alone and handling all sorts of horses (young, old and stallions ect) and have an eye for detail. ... Shifts will be Friday, Saturday and Sundays 8am-12pmish (Sunday shift may be shared) and may included afternoon feed up shift (1-2hours from 4pm onward).
