20.01.2022 How do we get commonsense to prevail Have just been told by NSW that we have to wait up to 5 days to be assessed for our permits as critical agricultural workers...... So pollies, do we let the cows starve for 5 days while you decide if you should let us in to chop the fodder for them. ...How do you think you are going to get your bowl of cereal, glass of milk or steak??? Huh???? ... ... It seems the "political" belief is "You only have to go to the supermarket to get food", but I think they have forgotten where it all originates from ... That's right a farm with agricultural farmers and workers!!!. Farms, farmers and critical agricultural workers supply: Fruit, vegetables, grains, milk, beef, lamb, pork, chicken, fish, nuts, honey, grapes, eggs, etc ..... It's utterly ridiculous... Are they going to stop this rot before the country runs out of food because our produce wasn't harvested during its harvesting season??? Harvesting is time critical... It can't be done next time... It's now or no product for 12months... Wake up to yourselves pollies... Or you are going to be on a self-imposed food-less diet!!!!! ... We are an essential industry ... Farmers feed our fellow Aussie's!!!! ...and Don't forget the Truckies...they "deliver" our food and essentials

Disturbingly clever ... the victims would have had no idea they were being scammed for their identities.... especially if they were desperately trying to get a job.... They were at their most vulnerable stage Please be very careful when being asked for proof of identity, etc.... over the phone or email..... Taken from ATO:
