Sadly however it is not that easy. I firmly encourage searching colours online but ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS order a sample card and then if needed get a sample pot. 08.01.2022 Undertones in colours - especially neutrals, can be tricky to understand and can really mess with your colour scheme if you are not aware of them. Undertones are the hint of a colour that can shine through your predominant colour. Some undertones are easily identifiable and others well they play tricks on the best of us. Depending on the colours in the surroundings, in the colours of the wall trims or door frames, even flooring, and in certain lights the colours undertone...s can become more predominant than expected. There are a few tips to assist to identify the undertone; 1. Get a large colour sample, 2. Display the colour next to a pure white, 3. Assess colour next to fixed materials in the space, 4. View colour in different lights throughout the day.
