22.01.2022 Hi All, sorry but NBN warnings ( relative to required actions if you wish to retain your alarm monitoring - has been delayed BUT will be posted over the next couple of days. Just testing a new product before we can speak out and warn you BUT remember the following basics: 1/. Make sure your RSP = Retail Service Provider is aware that you have a MONITORED ALARM ( and if you do not then contact us immediately ) prior to signing any transition orders or other paperwork relative ...to NBN connection. 2/. If you proceed with connection to NBN then make sure you test your alarm before the technician departs ( ring our monitoring centre and physically set off the alarm and ensure all signals were received. 3/. Be very wary of " package offers " as these can also include the installation of a GPRS monitoring module ( term used by most RSP's is XXXXXXX SECURE ) - cannot say names BUT they pay about the same as we do for same units = GPRS. 14.01.2022 ALERT - ALERT = BEWARE: I was going to post something about this extremely dangerous " robbery / scam " and I note that someone in our friends has already been approached. START: It has become most apparent that a very cunning and well experienced in their trade = " THEFT BY DECEPTION " crew have now moved their activity to the Eastern and Outer Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne, the robbery is simple = normally a male and a female approach you ( in smaller supermarket car parks )... offering to sell you very expensive perfumes at ridiculous prices, they offer to let you smell the sample on a " card " ( just like the chemist ) but the card and the container are laced with ETHER and possibly other forms of anaesthetic, you " sniff / smell " the card and in a very short time you are " out cold " and a few minutes later when you come round you have lost your handbag, car keys or more. Getting more information but appears you may have been selected as the " target " based on where you parked your car, are you alone and even where you did your shopping ( chemist / bank etc. ). You may have even been selected when you entered the car park and possibly even followed whilst you did your shopping by an accomplice who selects you as " the mark / target " and the others do the rest. 10.01.2022 The end of the TV SPECIAL summary being - the company obviously looked at our F Book page as now ADD says MINIMUM $1,613.oo over the 3 year period. Next we will post a copy of a clause in the contract and this is where most people " fall in a hole and get an automatic extension for another 3 years ". They may as well say " just pay the installation cost and if not completely happy within 30 days simply return it NOTE substituted Pay the postage. Just take care and if you are looking for an alarm system or any other security service then simply contact us.

06.01.2022 RE : TV ADD for " peace of mind for only $1.20 per day = PHONE CALL 3 = We will arrange for someone to come to your home ( we do special packages if you combine your business alarm system with your home alarm system ) and the price works out about the same for the installation but of course you may need a larger system - dependant on the size of your business ( I would have thought it would be based on the size and nature and location of the building but what would I know ), ...do you have an alarm at your business ( who said we even had a business = not me ). I suggest we arrange for a home inspection which will enable us to provide you with a definite price = I will check with my wife and call you back. Obviously, I asked a few questions but had to play " dumb " ( nor difficult for me ) but the recommendation is not to jump in as the $1.2o per day works out at around $1,445.oo if you include such a thing as GST over the three year period OH plus the $299.oo for the equipment = KIT with 2 RF detectors ( wireless ). Next will be a copy of the clause that will lock you in for another 3 plus years OH " and do not forget that you must have it serviced annually to keep the warranty period current as this is a requirement of the Australian Standards and no doubt your insurance provider, do you know that most insurers will give you a 15 plus % discount if you have a monitored alarm system and a smoke detector in it " = CHECK OUT AS 2201.2 of 2007 when you are bored shitless. 05.01.2022 Sorry but been some time since we provided any information, well now watch this space and BEWARE the NBN is here and ready to stuff up your alarm system ( if you do not have one then give us a call ) as alarm systems and NBN " TALK IN DIFFERENT LANGUAGES " SO WHEN YOU ARE SOLD ON THE ADVANTAGES OF THE NBN THEN MAKE SURE YOU ENSURE YOUR internet PROVIDER / HOST ( for legal reasons - cannot mention their names but you know the larger ones ) fully explains the workings of both A...LARM & INTERNET, don't just get sold on having faster internet service and not have a monitored alarm system anymore ( again if you do not have a MONITORED ALARM then give us a call ). Many providers will simply tell you that your alarm system can run thru your internet but what happens when you lose the internet ( caused by whatever ) you also lose your alarm system - monitoring. We will provide more information over the next few days including what you NEED to do to ensure your monitoring continues without fault and that is what we will guide you thru - STEP by STEP. Different scenarios for different alarm makes and it does not matter if you are a business or a residence, you will most likely get sold a package for faster internet and when you see the bill, you will ( possibly ) see what you know own to make both work. 01.01.2022 Not sure what times the mentioned advertisement runs at but I see it very early in the AM, curious if anyone else has seen it and would like you to share this and let us know your thoughts. A certain Security Company is advertising on TV that for $299.oo you can have an alarm system installed in your home ( this amount covers equipment and installation ) and then all you pay is $1.2o per day for the next 3 years, all sounds good and they ask you to call now for a " FREE HOME ...INSPECTION " = this is where the price will sky rocket and $299.oo gets you a very basic alarm system ( most likely not a branded name / system ) and then if this equipment actually suits your home ( I rang and you get 2 INTRUDER DETECTORS and key pad etc. ). Most homes need at least 3 or 4 ( single storey homes ). Then you only pay $1.2o per day over 3 years costs you $1,314 PLUS the $299.oo = $1,613.oo and you are now locked in for 3 years with so many clauses in the CONTRACT / AGREEMENT ( I have read hundreds of them ) and at the conclusion of the first 3 years if you forget to contact them within a very small time frame then the contract automatically rolls over for another 3 years = another $1,314.oo and so on. " Peace of mind " for ONLY $1.2o per day sounds good and does include " basic monitoring fee = alarm activations only " as you definitely do not get a smoke detector in this price, so no protection against a fire. Most likely R/F - WIRELESS equipment which is never the first or best option. TO BE CONTINUED - to cover the result of my second phone call and for us to give you a better option than simply increasing your Bank Card Debt plus explain how it should be done. Cheers Chris B.
