A very important and well supported aspect of the circuits is the $60 game skin sponsorship.... 19.01.2022 TenpinSA are excited to see easing of COVID-19 restrictions in South Australia. What does this mean for the sport of Tenpin bowling? As of the 1st of June the... following rules apply: Up to a maximum of 20 people per room (doesnt matter the size of the space at the moment) No more than 80 people per venue (up to 4 rooms of 20 people) The overarching rule of 1 person per 4 square metres still applies Social distancing rules still apply (1.5 metre) Each center can choose whether it will reopen on the 1st of June, or wait for further easing of restrictions. TenpinSA is working closely with the Office of Sport and Rec to see if restrictions can be eased further for our sport. 14.01.2022 CASH IS NO LONGER KING Looks like Covid-19 is changing the way we spend. ATM withdrawals this past quarter are down 12% from November levels across all income ...brackets. Have you noticed this in your own spending - are you using your card more rather than cash or have you fallen into the Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) schemes category? On average, the BNPL schemes are up 22% across all income levels. This is not good. IMO, using your card (and cash when deemed Covid clean) is still ok, but please rethink BNPL as an option if you want to be borrower ready. According to Afterpay, the top categories during the Covid-19 crisis are: **Beauty - skincare and home pampering. Home office equipment and furniture. **Sportswear and leisurewear. Homewares. **Department Stores - Toys, games and books for kids. **Footwear - athletic. I was pretty shocked to see this. The ones I have starred, if you are looking to do any sort of borrowing, you need to avoid putting these items on BNPL schemes. They are purely discretionary and if you cannot afford to pay for them outright, do not use Afterpay. There could be a small argument for the other two if they are big-ticket items and they are "needed" rather than "wanted", but even then, lenders may not view this type of spending favourably. They do not like the BNPL schemes. Something to definitely keep in mind when getting borrower ready. A better mindset is to always save the money and spend it rather than want the items now and then worry about finding the money to pay afterwards. Who knows, having to save for it might make you realise you didnt need the item anyway. *Stats provided by Illion & AlphaBeta (part of Accenture). 12.01.2022 Good morning bowlers, The Tournament Committee has decided to cancel the upcoming Adult Circuit scheduled for the 28th of June. We know you guys are so keen to get back onto the tournament scene but for now we are unable to hold such events. Hopefully you are close to returning back to leagues and scoring those high scores. We hope to hold Adult Circuits when further restrictions are lifted later in the year.... Thank you and as always stay safe!

11.01.2022 Important Information for bowlers bowling in the Adult Circuit on Sunday. On arrival at the centre please observe the centres COVID19 protocols. Checkin will be in the Party Room and everyone needs to social distance while waiting to checkin and pay. Paywave will be the preferred method of payment on the day. Payments can be made direct into the Tenpin SA Bank account BSB 105 096 Account 060455840 in the description please put SAAC and your surname. Send an email to [email protected] to advise of the transfer. Starting lanes will be allocated and you need to collect a personal record sheet. Once checked in take your gear to the allocated lanes and place your balls on the ball return and follow the tournament directors instructions. 07.01.2022 It was great to see 47 bowlers come out last Sunday for the Circuit at Zone Bowling Noarlunga. It has been a long time since the first Circuit back in March. It was a challenging pattern which tested all the bowlers with Chris Schwetlik having the highest score of the day with a very nice 238. Please register via the following link- https://tenpinsa.com.au/events/adult-circuit/ This is a handicapped event for both male and female bowlers. A random selection on the day will decide pairings. Averages will be compiled using the previous circuits for the year and handicaps will be 100% of the highest average plus 10 pins. 6 games and no finals. No ranking points allocated for this event but the $60 skins are still being run for the highest scratch game each game.

06.01.2022 Adult Circuit Round Up 2020 The Adult Circuit finished the year with a Doubles Fun day held at Salisbury Bowland. Bowlers were randomly paired on the day and the popular skins was included in the event. A huge thank you to our sponsors in a very difficult and uncertain year, your support has been greatly appreciated. In the Men Scott Miles has a bye into the Final with Ben Muir, Jason Turai, Nathan Harkess and Chris Schwetlik bowling a further game with the top two going through to bowl against Scott. In the Females Jamie Phelan was the top qualifier with Amy Martin, Jo Babic, Grace Perry and Brooklyn Brooks fighting out to decide who bowls against Jamie.
