24.01.2022 Hi, my name is Lizzy and I am the owner operator at Pottery Road Performance Ponies. I was asked to assist in finding homes for some beautiful welsh ponies. Unf...ortunately, when we arrived to view the ponies, we realised that they are in need of a little more help than we had anticipated. A number have foundered and have rotated feet. They are all in need of dentals, worming, veterinary work, and most have not seen a farrier for some time. Another hurdle is the ponies are very isolated, a couple of hours away from major services and in their current location cannot receive the care and handling they’re requiring. A significant number are unhandled. There are also 3 stallions. There are 16 ponies that require our help. THE PLAN! Step 1 - Transport - transport the ponies here to Pottery Road Performance Ponies in groups over a period of time. As many of them are unhandled they will require specialised transportation. Step 2 - Basic Handling - I will put in the work to handle the ponies, which will then allow us to provide them with the care that they need. Step 3 - Assessment and Treatment - A full veterinary and farrier assessment of each pony to decide on a plan moving forward. Step 4 - Adoption to approved homes These beautiful welsh ponies need our help, any donation is greatly appreciated, thank you

08.01.2022 SA ARABS are happy to confirm that the venue for the coming State Champs and Main Event will be held at Roseworthy. We are currently in negotiations to allow camping on site. There will obviously be conditions around this but we will advise as these when we have confirmation.
