21.01.2022 P O S I T I V E A F F I R M A T I O N S Some ideas for kids! Great conversation to have, to check in & share examples. A positive affirmation is a statement meant to overcome negative thoughts. Negative thoughts contribute to self-sabotage, stress, pessimism, anxiety, and depression. Therefore, you want to retrain your child’s brain to replace those negative thoughts with positive ones.... #srbflove

09.01.2022 WORKPLACE GIVING Has your workplace got a chosen charity? Have you considered the SRB Foundation to be able to give back to those in the community?... Some employers and employees at your workplace may opt to donate and support the SRB Foundation and our rehabME program in a smaller, more regular way. This can be achieved by workplace giving, which is fully tax deductible and available through all employers. The employer may reduce the gross salary when calculating PAYG on each pay or the employee may opt to claim as a deduction in their annual tax return. This is an ideal way of supporting the SRB Foundation on an ongoing regular basis. We would love your support! What more information? Email us at [email protected]

09.01.2022 SUPER CUTE TEE SUPPORTING SUPER SWEET MACY @macyfitzz Sammy Fitzpatrick X X Buy yours tomorrow from 5pm WST @streetx ... On the 16th of October 2019 Scarborough couple Tim & Sammy welcomed their baby girl Macy, 12 hours after birth Macy started having seizures and was transferred to PCH, the year that followed was nothing like they imagined and has consisted of numerous hospital admissions, long days spent in the emergency department and appointments. In February this year, Sammy and Tim Fitzpatrick received the heartbreaking news their daughter has WWOX-related Epileptic Encephalopathy (WOREE) Syndrome, a rare and life-limiting neurological condition, at present there is approximately 58 cases in the world. Woree syndrome is a genetic condition meaning Sammy & Tim both carry a faulty gene, never in there wildest dreams did the couple envision this when excitingly waiting for the arrival of their daughter. Macy suffers every day and is affected in every way possible she has uncontrollable epilepsy, is peg fed, has scolosis, respiratory issues, vision impairment and the list goes on. Sammy is Macy’s full time carer , as the condition is genetic the couple are currently going through genetic IVF to have a healthy baby, although a costly process the couple don’t want to go through this again.
