24.01.2022 Hi Folks, Had a couple of queries around the size of our lightsaber handsets and thought this might be a useful comparison :) And also these are the models we have in stock along with all the Cross Guard sabers.

24.01.2022 Announcements 1. Saber Direct will be closed from Tue 22nd December through to Sun 10th Jan. We will send out the last orders on the morning of Wed 23rd and will resume shipping on Mon 11th of January. Mack with "The Rogue" And this will be the name of the new line of sabers. Matthew Smith with "Halcyon" that came a close 2nd Bec and Matthew will be able to select one of the new Rogues and they will be sent out in January. Runners up will receive either A Kyber Crystal Necklace or a Stainless Steel Pendant of their choice and the runners up are: Chelsea Black with the entry "Initiate" and Kody Jackson with "The Negotiator. Thank you everyone that joined in the competition and look forward to a few more in 2021.

22.01.2022 Hi Folks, Ok We have had a few more units arrive - We have a couple of Black Knights as well as the new Black Falcons and a couple of Cross hilt sabers. We have 2 each of these units and yes they can be converted into Saber Staffs!!!!... The Falcons and Black Knights are $200 each and the Cross hilt sabers are $250. All of our sabers come with 3mm thick 92 cm heavy duelling blades - all have multiple sound fonts colour changing blades (including the cross hilt sabers). We also have a $420 special on the Falcons and Black Knight Saber staffs includes: 2 Hand sets 2 Long blades (92 cm) 2 Short blades (78cm) 1 Coupler

This is for those folks that want to use their lightsaber during the day / outdoors.... 21.01.2022 Hi Folks - Quick announcement regarding Saturday Classes at Armadale - HEMA and Light saber classes are switching time slots and an unarmed martial arts class w...ill be available as well. 09:00 - 10:00 - Light saber 10:00 - 11:00 - HEMA 11:00 - 12:00 - Mixed martial arts. The mixed martial arts class is not a Sword-Point class but is being hosted and run by Master Anthony Phoenix. Classes are held at Phoenix Fitness in Armadale. Any questions please let us know.

20.01.2022 Hi Folks, Well we received a partial shipment that had 3 sabers, a bunch of miscellaneous accessories and no blades :(. On the bright side we have just received 3 Black Knights with the new Ecoswing board. These units have 9 sound founts, better sensors and the smooth swing sounds.... They will be available for shipping from Monday.

19.01.2022 Saber Direct Prices are being adjusted curtesy of the Australian Government!!! As of Monday Morning (Oct 19) the new pricing will come into effect. 15.01.2022 Can't help myself - preview of another saber handset we will have in stock is one of my personal favourites - The Councillor. I personally love this handset and have ordered one in as a demonstration unit with the new Neopixel blade. This blade is specified as combat rated and has LED's all the way along the blade and is replaceable in the event of a failure or breakage!!... We are not willing to take the manufacturer at their word and intend to put it through its paces before Saber Direct is happy to sell it as a combat level blade. This unit will be at our Armadale store for people to have a look at and we will also look at posting a video or two for those of you that are not locals. I am truly hoping the Neopixel technology pans out - as always we will keep you informed.

These batteries have alittle more kick to to them than the standard 3000 mah batteries we supply with our baselit sabers. These will be available in the store this weekend. 12.01.2022 Hi guys! So, just an update on our new stock! Our new sabers have arrived in W.A, however there is a delay happening at customs, so we are working to get this squared away ASAP, but it may mean we don't get hold of the new shipment this week as expected. We should have more news soon, so stay tuned!

12.01.2022 Hey folks - exciting news we should be receiving most of the next shipment this week if the Fedex notifications are accurate :D Definitely looking forward to having a play with the new Falcon model handset - we have a few of these coming in both in Silver and Gold Will continue to keep you updated and hoping to get a new catalogue out soon - still waiting on information from our suppliers.... Oh and yes we will have a bunch of the All Rounders in the new 1" diameter format available in a few different colours.

11.01.2022 Well if you didn't laugh you'd cry.......or just kill them all!!!!!! Our shipment came in this week only to find it has been ransacked in transit :( - The box was delivered upside down to hide the fact that someone had been light fingered!! We are missing our Councillors, Cross Guard sabers and the new Falcons.... We are working with our supplier to have the missing kit sent through but it is still a kick in the proverbial. On the bright side we have lots of All Rounders in the new 1" format in Black, Gold, Silver and Red and a bunch of wardens in red and black. Photos coming soon along with the new prices.

11.01.2022 Hi Folks - It's Saber Renaming Time :) Over the next day or so we are changing the name of the Falcon model to Solstice. When we started selling this model we were not aware that the design was licensed intellectual property of Canadian Design House - Argo Sabers (www.argosabers.com). ... We look forward to seeing some of the new designs from Argo and hopefully will be able to offer them here in Australia - we will keep you up to date as we hear more :) Over the next day or two we shall be updating the website and catalogue to reflect the new Solstice name. 10.01.2022 We here at Saber Direct want to thank all our friends and customers who have helped us have the best months of our operation. What started as a way for a couple of martial arts clubs here in Perth to have safe reliable training equipment for students wanting to learn light saber combat, is slowly growing to become a small viable Western Australian Business - and that we can do this in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic is just amazing. We are looking forward to bringing out a... new great looking range of light sabers and we will be stocking a few different coloured handsets as well for prompt delivery. These past 2 months have just been phenomenal to the point where we only have 6 handsets available until the next order comes in in June. 2 x All Rounders 2 x Tournament 1 x Dark Walker 1 x Squire available So from all of us here Thank you so much and look forward to hearing your star wars stories.

On a positive note we have received in some more pieces in our Little Gifts Line including Alliance and Resin pendants with the option of a stainless steel snakescale chains. 06.01.2022 Ok in the wake of the bad news we have been having about our shipments playing tag with Australian Border Force - we have some great news. Shipment has been cleared and will be with us in the next day or so and our 1st Shipment from the Knight Shop has arrived - we now have stock of: Sword / Saber Bag Sample (If someone wants it PM us for a cost)... Red Dragon gloves in sizes 12 and 13 (The only sizes made) Red Dragon gorgets / neck protectors Red Dragon / Rawlings synthetic swords - Arming swords - Basket Hilted Sabers - Long Swords Oh and a great pair of padded rapier gloves that come mid way up the forearm - will report back about the level of protection they provide for lightsaber combat.

06.01.2022 Hi Folks, The details and photos for all the handsets we offer have been updated. (www.saberdirect.com.au)... There are a couple of new offerings in the handsets including The Guardian and The Councillor. All of our base lit sabers now include the Infinity Colour System, 6 sound fonts, 12 Watt RGB LEDs and 3000 mah batteries. We are also offering the ability to upgrade your handset with a Neopixel blade - this can be done for any handset at an additional cost of $120 per handset. These need to be custom built and so will take at least 4 weeks to arrive. We will be providing more information and videos around the Neopixel offering shortly as well as a new look catalogue you can download.

05.01.2022 For those folks in lockdown that want to learn saber combat - this is worth having a look!!!

04.01.2022 All the new stock will have the inifinity colour system for selecting the colour blade you want to wade into battle with. Instead of 11 preset colours you cycle through the whole range available and choose the exact hue that want so it can be a pale red, dark orange or shining white. The attached video shows the full cycle of colours from red through to blues and greens and back through to red.
