23.01.2022 Good Morning, A quick announcement we will be reviewing our pricing structure in the next 2 weeks - some pieces like the saberstaff bundle are going to go up in price - so if you get your order in now we will honour the currently advertised price :D We will also be stocking a small quantity of Day blades in red, blue and green. This is for those folks that want to use their lightsaber during the day / outdoors.... As part of our commitment to Saber Sports we will be offering a range of protective gear to help ensure your safety in heavy sparring. We will be offering: - light padded gloves - heavier Red Dragon gloves suitable high impact dueling... - gorget / throat protectors - fencing helmets A new range of Red Dragon (formerly Rawlings) synthetic swords will be available starting with Longswords, Singleswords and Basket Hilt Sabers for those people interested in expanding beyond lightsabers. We will also be expanding our range of accessories to include kit and gear bags large enough to accommodate cross hilt lightsabers as well as the synthetic swords. 19.01.2022 Hi Folks, Ok is getting into the Christmas Season and as a great big present to us looks like most of our supply issues have been resolved :D We won't be able to accept any custom orders or neopixel orders and be able to turn them around in time for Christmas but we do have a bunch of stock in place and ready to ship including:... 100+ All Rounders in assorted Colours 9 Tournaments We have stock of all of our Standard and Premium sabers except Black Knights. We also have 8 Councillors available in the High End sabers with the new in-pommel charging system - no need to change batteries!!! We have a ton of little gifts including bottle openers, Jedi and Kyber crystal pendants as well as leather bracelets and also a bunch of accessories like saber stands, batteries and external battery chargers. On the Red Dragon side we have stock of synthetics including cutlasses, single swords and long swords as well as protective gear including hand, eye, head and neck protection. On a sad note we are retiring our All Rounder line of sabers in the New Year and replacing them with a newer model - very shortly we will be announcing a Handset Naming competition where you can win one of these new handsets :) Also wanted to give a sneak preview of our new martial handset line coming out in the New Year - the body is machined from a single piece of aluminum for strength and is available in 3 colours. Black, Gun and Gold. In addition to being able to be used as a standard lightsaber or maul staff we are also offering: With a 52 cm blade these units came in at 71cm the right length to be used in a pair as fighting sticks (Kali, Eskrima, Arnis etc). This is also a good size for using one as a parrying dagger for sword and dagger techniques. We will be offering extension pieces so that when you join two units together in a saberstaff configuration it will be 1.8m in length and weighted to the size of a hardwood quarterstaff with good rigidity. These units will come with smooth swing and additional sound fonts and will be excellent for martial arts and HEMA clubs that want to give night time demonstrations. On a final note we at Saber Direct want to to thank all our customers and well wishers - we started Saber Direct as a way of supplying combat tough sabers to a couple of martial arts clubs in Western Australia. In the past year we have had customers from every corner of our continent, we have expanded our stock lines and have had great conversations both online and offline (looking at you Reece & Andrew ;) )with some great people we would never have otherwise met. This has been a challenging year for everyone and here is to hoping that 2021 is a little less challenging.

19.01.2022 Saber Direct Prices are being adjusted curtesy of the Australian Government!!! As of Monday Morning (Oct 19) the new pricing will come into effect. 18.01.2022 A fun night training with Sword-Point College of Arms last night as they trialled our prototype lightdagger. The dagger is also the same length as Arnis / Kali sticks and works well in twin stick fighting !! More details to follow.

16.01.2022 Good Morning All - So there is still no update from customs and our stocks of sabers are running low - we do apologise for any delays in sending out orders. On a positive note we have received in some more pieces in our Little Gifts Line including Alliance and Resin pendants with the option of a stainless steel snakescale chains. I sense another mini competition coming up - stay tuned.

15.01.2022 Hi Folks, Well we received a partial shipment that had 3 sabers, a bunch of miscellaneous accessories and no blades :(. On the bright side we have just received 3 Black Knights with the new Ecoswing board. These units have 9 sound founts, better sensors and the smooth swing sounds.... They will be available for shipping from Monday.

Our new sabers have arrived in W.A, however there is a delay happening at customs, so we are working to get this squared away ASAP, but it may mean we don't get hold of the new shipment this week as expected. 11.01.2022 Hi Folks - It's Saber Renaming Time :) Over the next day or so we are changing the name of the Falcon model to Solstice. When we started selling this model we were not aware that the design was licensed intellectual property of Canadian Design House - Argo Sabers (www.argosabers.com). ... We look forward to seeing some of the new designs from Argo and hopefully will be able to offer them here in Australia - we will keep you up to date as we hear more :) Over the next day or two we shall be updating the website and catalogue to reflect the new Solstice name. 09.01.2022 Announcements 1. Saber Direct will be closed from Tue 22nd December through to Sun 10th Jan. We will send out the last orders on the morning of Wed 23rd and will resume shipping on Mon 11th of January. Mack with "The Rogue" And this will be the name of the new line of sabers. Matthew Smith with "Halcyon" that came a close 2nd Bec and Matthew will be able to select one of the new Rogues and they will be sent out in January. Runners up will receive either A Kyber Crystal Necklace or a Stainless Steel Pendant of their choice and the runners up are: Chelsea Black with the entry "Initiate" and Kody Jackson with "The Negotiator. 04.01.2022 Good Morning folks - well no news yet on our customs held goodies :( but on a brighter note we now have stock of spare 3600 mah batteries and external USB chargers. These batteries have alittle more kick to to them than the standard 3000 mah batteries we supply with our baselit sabers. These will be available in the store this weekend. 03.01.2022 Ok in the wake of the bad news we have been having about our shipments playing tag with Australian Border Force - we have some great news. Shipment has been cleared and will be with us in the next day or so and our 1st Shipment from the Knight Shop has arrived - we now have stock of: Sword / Saber Bag Sample (If someone wants it PM us for a cost)... Red Dragon gloves in sizes 12 and 13 (The only sizes made) Red Dragon gorgets / neck protectors Red Dragon / Rawlings synthetic swords - Arming swords - Basket Hilted Sabers - Long Swords Oh and a great pair of padded rapier gloves that come mid way up the forearm - will report back about the level of protection they provide for lightsaber combat.

01.01.2022 Hi Folks - just an announcement - unfortunately we are experiencing some supply difficulties (Go figure) But we are running critically low on the 92cm Blades and expect we will run out of them within the next few days. Because of this we have also discontinued offering the saberstaff bundle until we have received our next shipments in.
