Did you know a strong core in pregnancy: supports your pelvic organs as your baby bump gets bigger... alleviate pressure on your back support proper posture help increase your sense of control during labor recover more quickly after giving birth Here are some my favourite ways to work your core when pregnant: push up & reach - strengthens arms and the reach opens chest and hips thigh hinges & punches - works thighs, arms and add pulses for added challenge! downdog into knee hovers - gentle inversions like this help get the baby in a good position plus working thighs and core knee hovers - inhale to prepare and exhale hug baby in and hover knees for 3 rounds of breath bird dog with hand weight - a fantastic way to test balance and core (the weight is optional) Tag a friend who would benefit from this workout! 22.01.2022 What makes Pilates a great workout for your booty?! It targets not only your glutes, but also the muscles that support your hips, like your hamstrings, quads and outer and inner thighs. Wobble board, Reformer, booty band, sliders - theres so many creative ways to target that in pilates. One of my favourites is this exercise on the Reformer. It will strengthen core also! Whats your favourite way to target your booty in pilates?

18.01.2022 So many of us hate stretching. Even as a Yoga teacher I empathise! Until fairly recently, the thought of penciling in some stretching sessions (when fitting in a workout can be hard enough) was not one of my wellness priorities. However with an increased amount of demonstrations Ive had to do recently my body was starting to ache and I got really moody too! ... For over 2 months now Ive been committed to a weekly stretch session and Ive instantly noticed the benefits to my mood and feeling so much less achey! Thats because stretching increases your blood flow and circulation for a healthier body and sends oxygen to your brain for a clearer mind and improved mood! Preventing injuries Improving flexibility Theres so MANY benefits to stretching. This is me filming Stretchy Beans for Virtual @leanbeanfitnessau which you can access next week. Its a full body stretch and youre going to feel so good afterwards I PROMISE. So maybe next time you cant be bothered to stretch because its boring or you feel tight and sore REPLACE your mental soundtrack with This is just what my body needs and Im getting more flexible each time I stretch (or whatever benefit you want to achieve!) Chocolate Chip Cookies from @180cakesau I LOVE this mixture - its great for people who want to bake healthy treats at home but perhaps dont have the time to do this from scratch (or the desire - which is ok!) Low in sugar, gluten free and grain free this mixture is for anyone whos trying to be health conscious but also wants something satisfying! Instructions:... pour mixture in a bowl add 1 egg (or substitute) add desired oil (I used coconut) mix with wooden spoon place tablespoon sizes of mixture on tin lines with baking paper 15 mins put in the oven allow to cool = nutritious and delicious treats! We were on our way to see my family in Cambridgeshire, England and Im currently yearning to smell the English countryside, have a drink by the Thames and see my family.
