17.01.2022 I created a zine with @footlocker_au & @nikebasketball!! - - I’m excited to share this very special project celebrating the launch of the new LeBron 18 shoes, and the inspiring life’s work of basketball champion @kingjames.... I spoke to five incredible humans, including Designer @georgiarhaynes , Artist @daniellesartwork , Basketball Champion @ezimagbegor , Coach Omar Coles of @helpinghoops , and @thestreetsbarber; who gives life changing haircuts to people experiencing homelessness. And after a challenging year for all of us during which I found myself struggling to maintain any kind of creative energy this zine really pushed me back to my fullest potential. WAYF events open with Good Hair - on Friday featuring FlexMami , Moreblessing Maturure (Folk Magazine) Namila Benson (ABC Radio & TV) , Ayeesha Ash (Black Birds).... Then there’s music by Darcy and Claddy Justice until 9. Followed by Virtual Curls on Saturday, lead by Ella Rowe with Chrissy Zemura Hair , Kim of Skimdo and Kayta Hackman of Heap Store!
