24.01.2022 One of my favourite things to photograph is sports. I love the passion that athletes show during competition. There are so many stories in sports: the mental strength required to manage the unknown; the raw physical suffering as they push themselves to the limit; the dedication, passion and perseverance as they challenge themselves to perform at their best level; the way they overcome obstacles and injuries as they strive to become the very best version of themselves. My nex...t sporting event later this month might be the one I am most excited for. Invictus is Latin for Unconquered and I am honoured to capture the images for the official book of the upcoming Invictus Games Sydney 2018, where 500 unconquered wounded warriors from 18 nations will compete in 13 modified events. The official book of the Games is a limited edition, with only 2000 copies going to print. 11.01.2022 NEW WEBSITE ! NEW WEBSITE ! NEW WEBSITE ! I am ridiculously excited to announce that I have a new website and I hope you take a minute to check out. It has a brand new landing page with two sections: Artist Work and Commercial Work. If you know me and my work, you know that I lean to more of a documentary-style approach with my photography. I instinctively look for different angles and frames that capture the experience of the moment, not just the moment itself. ... This approach stems from my artistic work and is a big reason why I seek passion projects every now and then. Projects like these challenge me to find new ways to capture shots. When my new website launched two years ago, I was really pleased with how my artistic flair came through. However, Ive since realised that my commercial work wasnt presented in a particularly strong light. Until now ... The artist page remains much the same, but the commercial page showcases 6 client projects, including some new video work that Im quite pleased with. INSCRIBED An anthropology project to capture the feelings, emotions and connection to the land of an aboriginal community in the outback. There was little direction which forced me to let go of my normal approach. I observed, waiting for them to tell me their story.

01.01.2022 The photography component of this project ran alongside film production that was executed by the @LushTheContentAgency team of Gavin Carrol (DOP) and Alex Lush (Producer). The shoot lasted several days and each day was packed. On top of photographing amazing women, shooting exquisite jewellery created in Western Australia together and working with an all Western Australian team was inspiring in itself. @LushTheContentAgency
