22.05.2022 Sabre Autonomous Solutions has just finished a 12 month project designing, building and testing a brand new, fully automated 3 axis positioning system to enhance the reach and capabilities of our Alpha-1 autonomous blast robot. The current system has a reach 4M wide and 5M high and designed to fit through a 18 manway. There is scope for longer and wider reach upon request. It is easily assembled in a matter of hours and is fully controlled by our unique exclusive autonomous software.

09.05.2022 Sabre Autonomous Solutions is proud to announce the highly successful culmination of its collaborative project with Shell GameChanger. The 18-month project saw Sabre design, manufacture and test a unique 3-axis positioning system for its Alpha-1 Autonomous Blast Robot so it can be utilized for many off and on shore applications in the oil and gas industry. This highly exciting development is another significant step towards reducing human exposure to the hazardous task of abr...asive blasting in confined space. The opportunity to join forces with Shell GameChanger has allowed us to better understand the challenges faced by blasters and painters in the oil and gas industry and thereby to enhance our system offering. By incorporating our newly developed 3-axis robot positioning system into our Alpha-1 robot, we have now made it much more suited to applications in that industry, said Damian Williams, Sabre CEO. Indeed, Sabre’s latest development can help the oil and gas industry handle fabric-maintenance activities more safely and cost-effectively, added by Haiyong Cai, Shell Gamechanger. It has been a real pleasure collaborating with the Sabre team to make this possible.

09.04.2022 Exciting times for SABRE Autonomous Solutions and Burwell Technologies with the conclusion of successful robotic blast trials for BAE Systems Australia. Trials were held over a 2 day period at our Sydney facility recently. Attendees from BAE and other industry members witnessed the capabilities of the ALPHA-1 autonomous blasting robot. Blast trials took place in one of four large innovation modules that BAE Systems Maritime Australia had constructed to support the Hunter prog...rams prototyping phase. The six-metre modules resemble ship blocks and have similar features including bulkhead doors, manholes, hatches, passageways and confined spaces. 14.01.2022 Our SABRE team recently returned from Kuwait where we were contracted to demonstrate the capabilities of the ALPHA-1 Robot for use inside various tanks at the Headquarters of EQUATE; a Global Producer of Petrochemicals. Our team was thrilled with the feedback and subsequent approval to work with this global giant to incorporate our technology into their daily processes. It was a challenging environment with temperatures in the high 40’s that we certainly are not accustomed to but our ALPHA-1 system didn’t miss a beat showcasing the benefits of utilising this technology to operate under extreme conditions without requiring breaks and removing people from exceptionally harsh confined-space environments. We now look forward to working with EQUATE with the roll-out of a custom designed tank blasting solution.
