16.01.2022 BYC RULES NIGHT 5TH OCT!!!!! Hopefully, you’ll never have to meet these guys in the room. Murray Jones is an International Judge and Jonathon Rees is a Nation...al Judge. They know the rules back to front and have offered to run a rules seminar at BYC on Monday 5 Oct in the marina bar starting at 1900 hrs. It's obvious we need to know the rules, but there are some situations where your rights change. This is when the trouble begins. We’ve picked a few days before summer sailing begins so it will be great to have a refresher. Murray and Jonathon run a very interactive session and there’s no such thing as a dumb question. Also, there are some rules which will change next year. Murray and Jonathon will update you on these. Why not pop in and get some advice from the highest level of accreditation we have in the country. Meals are available from 1800 hrs and it’s a great opportunity to bring a few of your crew. 12.01.2022 Sabre events this season thanks to Matt Westland; The State Titles are being held at Midway Point on January 9th and 10th. There seems lots of interest in the c...lass so we should see a good fleet size. This season we have instigated a travellers Trophy for Sabres. We will combine the results from the following events for prizes in overall and handicap formats. Pittwater Regatta 5th and 6th December 2020 Royal Hobart Regatta Saturday 6th Feb 2021 Itzaboat Race ( Lindisfarne) Sunday 7th Feb 2021 Blockbuster PDYC Feb 27th and 28th 2021 Note: The Royal Hobart regatta and Itzaboat race have been configured to make it easier for Northern sailors to travel down for a weekender. Sailors can rig at LSC and sail over to the regatta grounds for afternoon races on Saturday and then leave boats rigged at LSC overnight ready for Itzaboat on Sunday.
