22.01.2022 The message sent on Monday about reopening was conditional on the committee being satisfied that the club can meet its’ social distancing requirements. Today’s meeting has confirmed our compliance and the club will open on the 13thJuly as previously stated Reopening at Unley venue will be staged with sessions on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday commencing at 10.30 am and finishing at 1pm, with 24 boards being played.... Beginner classes will start on Tuesday evening 21st July and Friday afternoon 24th July. A session for supervised players will be scheduled for Friday afternoons. The following restrictions/limitations will apply. No kitchen service Session time is 10.30am to 1pm 6 x 4 board rounds (24 boards) Kitchen, annex, front lounge and Office are Out of Bounds Members must wash/sanitise their hands o On entry and exit to the building o On entry and exit to the toilets o After each round Do not come to the club if you are not feeling well. Members displaying any cold or flu symptons WILL be sent home Water dispensers and café bar off limits. The club will set up a refreshment station and members can get a coffee, tea or water which will be provided by a staff member East will be responsible for moving the boards between rounds and placing the board on the table. South will be responsible for the bridgemates. No one else will handle the boards or bridgemates EW to take their bidding boxes with them. Members are encouraged to buy their own bidding box, available at the club for $15 each. No cash. Members can use Pre Pay or EFTPOS Members will be required to adhere to social distancing requirements at the front and rear entrances, at the coffee station and at the director’s desk. This staged opening will be reviewed after 2 weeks with a view to a full reopening, including other venues

21.01.2022 Friday night bridge will be returning to SABA from 29th September! Beginners classes will also be offered on Friday nights from October 13th.

04.01.2022 We are very pleased to welcome you to the South Australian Bridge Association (SABA). As a way of introduction to our organisation, we invite you to participate in one of our regular playing sessions at any of our five venues. In this way, you can meet some of our members, and also experience how these sessions are organised. However, if you are completely new to bridge, we regularly run Beginners’ Classes throughout the year. Here you can enjoy learning the basics of bridge... with others that have a similar skill level to your own. Additionally, during this process, our Club Teachers will assist and guide you into becoming an active playing member of SABA. Bridge is a wonderful game whether played socially or competitively. We encourage you to explore all its possibilities and rewards with us. We are sure you will have a lot of fun. Please feel free to contact us for your assistance.
