23.01.2022 Victoria Premier Daniel Andrews has announced Melbourne's 5 steps COVID19 restrictions roadmap yesterday. Even though it is disappointing to learn that the stage 4 restrictions will extend for another 2 weeks so our Dance Troupe can only continue to stay away from new bookings...but the curfew will be starting from 9pm instead of 8pm. 21.01.2022 Choreographers and dancers Lee Tsung-Hsuan and Chang Chien-Hao bring a spectacular dance piece to your living room - live streamed through the eyes of a moving camera on a robotic vacuum. Positive touch is an integral part of human interaction. As 2020 sees personal contact is replaced with connections through screens, the feeling of skin can feel like a distant memory. This has taken away the sensation and physicality for dancers who deliver performances of the body, where m...ovement and touch are core to performance. How does this translate through a lens? This work was developed for Taipei Performing Arts Center and first presented at FW: Wall-Floor-Window Positions, as part of ADAM 2020 Online Performance Project. This event is part of Fringe Focus Taiwan, supported by The Ministry of Culture, Republic of China (Taiwan) and Cultural Division, Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Sydney.
