25.01.2022 At Tintinara doing more GPR work of irrigation system, getting there still got a few more center pivot to do. The 2 top ones are 700m across/wide and the 2 bottom ones are just over 800m across/wide, yep lots of walking, all the fence lines I can do on the bike. I should add thats raw data I need to run it through another program to add labels etc, depths come across automatically.

25.01.2022 We had to locate fiber optic cable in the old train corridor at Mt Torrens good excuse to use the quad bike lol We had to locate the transponder balls and give GPS coordinates then give them to Telstra to reinstall there marker post. As you can see in one picture shows how a marker post should look like, and how they look after the fire.

20.01.2022 We got asked by vc irrigation to locate this awesome 1800 underground water channel, so when they do trenching for new irrigation pipework it does not get damage. This property has been in the family for many generations. We also had to do some modifications to our traceable rod. We also GPS mapped the water channel and the new infrastructure going in.

15.01.2022 The property owner told the fencing contractor that there is a Telstra cable close by and not to proceed until they get it located. The contractor said all good we will use the same hole. He was very lucky this time. It had to be close. Please even if youre using the same holes still get the area located.

10.01.2022 Completed a job this weekend I have wanted to do for a long time. Added my GPS mapping equipment to the GPR, 2 different styles the longer one to get better satellite reception and the standard high one.

08.01.2022 Just a bit of late afternoon GPS mapping

08.01.2022 Went to Waikerie to locate fiber optic cable that has transponder balls in the trench. The high number indicating we are on top of the ball. They put these ball at change of direction and at the marker post. We also mapped the location with GPS references so the company we did the work for can draw up plans to have the cable moved at a later date.

03.01.2022 We had to locate the power cable for the electrician then he asked if we could locate the fault, I said as long as we can drill the concrete so the A frame locator could touch natural dirt. We did and found the fault right next to the meter box on the house the power run was a 150 meter run from the mains cubicle
