13.01.2022 With the arrival of the heat, most questions this week have been about A-Shade beach tents - no surprise there ;) Heres Garrys top 10 replies... 1. It measures 3.6 x 1.8m.... 2. Some cheaper tents, have fabric so thin, you can just about see through it. A-Shades double weave canvas is denser and thicker, so it blocks out more UV rays. 3. Yes, it has a UPF50+ sun protection rating. 4. Theres only one colour - Blue/Green/White alternating stripes. 5. It has webbing sewn along the canvas edges, which helps stop it flapping and ripping in the wind. 6. No, they havent had the old timber poles for many years. 7. A-Shades dont have plastic knuckles on poles like some cheaper shades because they tend to go brittle and crack. 8. The new poles are powder coated aluminium and theyre adjustable to 3 different heights. 9. Yes, it comes with pegs and guy ropes. 10. Garrys answer:- Twin-Faced Sheepskin means that the skin, with the wool on it, is from one piece of sheep-hide, as opposed to synthetic fabric which may be wool lined. If you look into cheap ugg boots, you can see that when you part the wool on the inside of the boot, theres mesh at the base of the wool tufts.
