10.01.2022 CBF announces support measures: "We know it has been tough going and understand that you need support as soon as possible to get through the COVID-19 pandemic." Ian Hamm, CBF President, announces a series of measures to support stations manage the considerable impacts of the pandemic. Support includes:... -reopening the 2020/21 Round 1 grants to allow existing applicants to adjust their applications to better reflect their operational needs during the crisis - creating a COVID-19 Quick Response grant for stations with no paid staff, who are therefore not eligible for the broad Australian Government stimulus packages, to apply for up to $2,000 to assist with maintaining operations under COVID-19 social distancing requirements -establishing a new COVID-19 Crisis Fund, which is open to all stations, to provide them with additional support while operating under pandemic restrictions.
