12.01.2022 An offer only ; many of us delight in the excitement of this time of year.As if we are now all collectively given permission to let our hair down. With this, may come our nerves ,our anxious states.We hope that everything will be wonderful as we anticipate what might unfold.CALM HERE NOW is a quiet voice inside of you that is possible,not only possible perhaps preferable.For while the glitter and glamor and highs may enthrall,there is a lot to be said for taking each day as it comes.Taking each moment as it comes - being with -whatever is- as it is and welcoming the inevitable hiccups along the way.We often dont "get" what we want,but we find sometimes we get just what we need.Was that a line from mick jagger? embrace your inherent calm state.Trust in the process of being alive ,here and now.

09.01.2022 Being calm isn't so easy for us humans, mostly because we have been taught to think, and think a lot about everything. Thinking can lock us into a kind of loop with our emotions, as we think so we feel. And so it goes. So we go. Being calmer, being a calm human may have something to do with loosening our grip on our thoughts. Loosening our grip on our mind too. Letting go of our investment and attachment to all that we think we know. All that we have been taught and told. Lat...ely, l have been reminding myself that most of what l think isn't the truth. And it isn't reality. This way, in my moving about in life, l feel more able to let things and people just be the way they are, without my needing to interfere or intervene anymore.Which l have done a lot of. Being calm isnt easy - and it is worth working for. For a clearer head, a warmer heart- a healthier body too See more
